Mythic 0 Changes are ridiculous

Heroic is the old mythic WITHOUT the mythic mechanics. So yeah it wouldn’t feel hard because those mechanics won’t kick in till mythic.

Then you’re overgeared. Why are you failing Mythic dungeons again? Oh, that’s right…

If by “puddle” you mean “thousands of players when the group size is only five” then sure; still massive comparatively.

Heroics are now even easier than old Mythics— even with a full group at minimum ilevel. It’s sad and teaches nothing.

You know crawth boss in AA? Each deafening screech increases damage by 50%, reset by goals. This is only on mythic. You need to be clearing in mythics or you will be getting one shot at heroic dungeon ilvl.

One more thing, go to the adventure guide and compare heroic and mythic boss mechanics they are not the same. While some remain the same but they have one mechanic extra in mythic difficulty.

People just need to gear properly. When they consolidated everything, the strength of our gear slid backwards in comparison to previous seasons. We don’t need another pointless level to smooth things out. People just need to properly gear.

Before we went from S2 → S3. Our gear at the end of S2 was equal to mid level of S3 (m4-m5)
Now going from S3 → S4, our gear went from that m4-m5 range to Heroic.

Are you sure? I’m 99% sure adventure track gear requires whelpling crests from 480 to 489.

Whelpling crests that are capped at 120 per week…

It still has mechanics even in heroic difficulty atleast learning the basic of the boss mechanics is something and not nothing. Did I not mention that the fact that mythic difficulty has a mythic only mechanic.

Correct.

But the mechanic is the same. It doesn’t change. It just amplifies damage.
You SHOULD be clearing in Heroic anyway. Skipping mechanics and then not knowing what to do because you skipped them isn’t a difficulty jump issue.

Not 100% no. I’ll admit, I read the changes and for whatever reason that is what stuck with me. Is it 1-4 are flightstones and 4-8 require whelpling? (I haven’t had any characters require whelpling yet so not sure where they come in to play)

Based on every gearing chart I could find, yes. 4-8 requires whelpling crests.

So players would essentially be stuck at 480 for at least a week or 2. Assuming they took the time to farm enough flightstones in the first place.

And I feel pretty confident that players in mismatched 480 heroic dungeon gear and no tier are not ready for M0s. At least without a strong group carrying them.

I haven’t learned anything in a heroic dungeon since Legion.
Heroics do not teach mythic mechanics or even let you enjoy the dungeon.

Heroics have not been hard since Cata launch.

Heroics weren’t hard in Cata either if you did mechanics…much like now.

The majority agree M0 is a cakewalk you can do in greens. There really has not been much of a difficulty change in them so not sure what the fuss is about. The weekly M0 quest is as easy as ever this week so…

I don’t believe this whatsoever.

People go into mythics without knowing mechanics at all. Perhaps they are unable to do them or don’t have the raid awareness that is required.

This was the same last season as well. Except it was exponentially easier to carry them up to a certain degree.

And that is why they are not doing any of it after that incident. Lesson learned. Must be hard to understand that your type are not in the majority not everyone wants everything to be hard.

There are a lot of threads, but this is clearly a significant problem that negatively impacts a lot of players.

Hopefully Blizz takes notice and implements some kind of fix.
