Simple searches in WoW lore dont come up with a direct correlated meaning. Someone else with deep lore knowledge will have to answer this one.
Mostly just rumors and gossip. Stories told around a fire or over a pint at the local tavern. Its a name that has been used by beggers and nobles alike.
Some say its a group. Others, a single person that only appears once a year. A prophet to some, a nightmare to others. Ask around and get as many answers as voices. Perhaps some mysteries are best unsolved.

Huh. It definitely is a rather specific prefix. And they’ve used it for items from multiple expansions (technically - just Cata and MoP) so it’s not like it’s tied to an xpack-specific faction that I’m forgetting about or something.
4 items with that prefix. 3 being from MoP, 1 being from Cata.
1 item with the name ‘Zakai’ without the ‘Buc-’, also from MoP.
The non-Buc item seems to just be a random green with no flavor though so nothing exciting there.
It’s when you are explaining to someone that the deer with antlers is a male.
