Hello, I am trying to complete the delve, but there seems to be no way to get up using the mushroom with the Alekk summon. There are tiny dark elephants on the mushrooms, using the NPC summon mount it just runs around and has no interaction with the mushrooms. Am I missing something?
You have to get off the elephant to interact with the mushroom, despite the mushroom having an elephant on it. Yes, asinine.

I’ve never used the elekk mount on that variant after the first time messing around with it for a couple minutes. It’s not really good for anything. It’s pretty misleading.
I used the elekk vehicle to skip mobs.

Just use the elekk to collect the stars in the first phase. You need to kill a zone% of mobs that basically means you need to kill everything anyway.
