My upload mbps drop to 0,22 everytime i open wow retail. Fixed (turn off network boost on lenovo vantage)

So im never been able to live on discord since the war within season 1, i just notice it recently my upload mbps always drop to 0,20 mbps, but when i close it comeback to 55mbps+, is there anything i can do to have normal upload mbps when opening wow?

Is your PC a Lenovo by chance? Are you on wifi or ethernet?

I’d ask in the Tech Support forum. Not sure GD will be much help.

Laptop lenovo legion 5

What are the speeds you’re paying for with your ISP?

50 mbps . . .

That’s the down, what about the up? Usually run different speeds… it’s probably 50/10.

Yea already open a ticket, i doing the page suggestion how to fix lag on wow, now im updating my driver 1 by 1

I would think most people’s uploads would be at zero or close to because nothing should necessitate uploading.

Yeah never check on that but i dont think 0,22 is a normal speed everytime i open wow, i mean i play this game normal to live without using any tunel or vpn

Do you have Lenovo nerve sense or Lenovo vantage software running? If yes, look for an option for network priority and turn it off

So the download mbps make the lag then? its 8-10mbps everytime check when opening wow

My download speed is like 40 kbs.

Upload speed is like 8 kbs.

WOW just doesn’t use a lot of data. (Just chilling in capital city.)

Well, the question isn’t your current speed you’re receiving, what speeds are you paying for… I personally pay for a 1GB connection both up and down. Because if you have an abysmal upload speed on your contract, it’s always “UP TO XX” so again, what speeds are you paying for… you’ll RARELY ever see that number btw.

i see a network boost option, and yes i turn it on

Everytime i contact the customer service they told me im getting the 50mbps package/month its like 13$/month

but realistically, you’re like not really going to be using that often.

People generally don’t download so much stuff.

And then it’s not solely how much you can download, but rather what others can upload too.

Also: is your computer a potato?

I dunno what to tell you, but if you’re paying $13/month for internet, I’m sure the internet isn’t going to very good and not knowing the upload speed is never a good thing. I know 50/10 is used by companies like comcast… but it’s always UP TO so you could be receiving 1MBPS or .22MBPS and it’d technically be fair. I know this is very “the tech guy told me to do this, I already tried!” but power off your modem and/or router or combo for a few minutes and try again.

Gyat damn work perfectly fine when i turned it off thanks mate.
