My take on this drama of a war

I’m going to be honest. To defeat someone as sinister, manipulative and evil like Sylvanas, being a goody two shoes is not going to help. Sylvanas is not going to be defeated being led by a person who is a pacifist. I am not stating that we should not have a King, rather what I am saying is that a supreme commander should be appointed to make some real decisions here, someone who has military experience and knows how to deal with someone like Sylvanas. King Llane, may peace and blessings be upon him, had Lothar as his supreme commander back in the day, so why can’t we have someone like him up there in the front instead of a good looking prince charming who has already admitted that he can not defeat Sylvanas? I’m going to say that the current war is not looking good for the Alliance. I fear that we may be defeated because our leadership has no backbone and always trying to sing Kumbaya and hold hands with Horde. The Alliance is not going to win this war being Pacifists. We need a strong commander, I don’t care if it’s morally grey or what, for the survival of this faction, sometimes difficult decisions have to be made. You can call me evil but idgaf.

Sylvanas ultimate aim is to make everyone undead.

There is already another civil war brewing within the horde. We alliance just have to play the waiting game :rofl:

Speaking of Lothar, i’m surprised I don’t think they’ve ever actually shown him in game.

And yeah I know he’s dead, but like they fan service characters like Uther or Arthas all the time when appropriate, but Lothar never even gets a flashback.

Sylvanas is not evil.

Twisted, a tortured soul, perhaps mentally unstable, but not evil.

Isn’t this just another way of saying “we are completely uninvolved in this story”?

You can see a flashback in Karazhan when him and Khadgar are talking about something, can’t remember what. Also Lothar has a statue in blackrock mountain from like the second war I think. There is also a sword called Ashkandi, Greatsword of the Brotherhood, it has A.L. etched on the hilt of that sword, i’m guessing it belonged to Lothar? But aside from that, nothing really.

You’ve got a void mage, a “master” assassin and a holy paladin all chummy with each other despite having diametrically opposed mission statements. I think you’ll be fine.
