I encourage all warlocks to join me in charging for Soulstones 1g per party member. If people want to be lazy and not run back from a wipe the least they can do is pay this tiny sum for the convenience. Bonus gold for UBRS runs!

This sounds stupid. Putting a soulstone on the healer benefits the whole group. If you’re that greedy well just grab someone else, warlocks aren’t a requirement.

Pretty sure OP is making fun of the threads where rogues think they’re entitled to anything locked in groups. Aka, nobody gets a soulstone from the lock…unless they want to buy it! Or water from a mage, or taunts from a warrior, and so on.

You have to pay to train the skill, take the time to gather a soul shard, carry it around taking bag space. I wouldn’t charge for a soulstone, but it does seem like every other class charges for their skills that “can be done as long as you have mana”.

Uhm…every class has to pay for their skills. If you want to use that we can then nullify the “charge” by counter charging my services as a different class using a different ability.
Played and have a current Warlock I play. Not hard to create a soulshard. Initiate battle with an enemy. Cast the spell. Defeat Enemy. Soulshard. Nothing special.
I can’t speak on everyone. I am just one guy. I don’t charge for anything and a lot of times has lost a profit gain by blatantly giving stuff away to random people. I do know this, no matter who you are, If I come into a group and hear anyone charging for “services” I will either leave myself or boot them myself.

reassuring my decision to stay on retail and finishing leveling my zandy troll for its heritage armor.
when classic wow is dead next year and the private server players go back to private servers because there wont be any fresh start servers.
ill have my heritage armor i can always bring with me…lol.
