If finding groups at low levels is so difficult because “nobody wants to run the content”… how is RDF going to magically get you groups?
Answer: its not. All it would accomplish is changing the way the queue youre sitting in looks. It wont magically create tanks or healers for your group.
Heres why these threads keep getting made: attention. Not on the subject matter, but for the people who make the threads. They want attention. Part of me for a while thought it might have been a paid, coordinated campaign but at this point without results thr money for such a thing wouldve dried up entirely.
No, these people exist and function purely off the “any attention is good attention” mindset. Including the negative attention that comes from endlessly bringing up something that has been discussed ad infinitum.

If that’s true it’s because they wouldn’t accept no as an answer even though they were told no more times than those who want rdf have been told no. Those “vanilla kids” were called whiners and cry babies and told it was over, it’s never going to happen, and to give up but they just kept pushing and pushing and pushing for classic. I really don’t get why you think we’re going to do anything different.

having the RDF is good for many reasons. 1. the social aspect; by having cross realm rdf it allows players to make friends with players on other realms thus making the game more appealing. 2 social aspect; prevents dealing with trolls. 3 vannilla content; trying to form a random group with the risk of potential trolls and douches plus the whole having to travel around the damn world for a dungeon thats may 20 mins long and gives like what 6 bubbles worth of xp ( with rested bonus) is annoying. 4 ease of access; having rdf matchmaking us with players on different realms/groups and porting us is no different the pvp porting and finding random ppl. 5 environment/gameplay; having features for one aspect and not for another that uses game aspects is not exactly an enjoyable experience. 6 the rdf is easier to use than the current df system ppl are still stupid on how it works and how to use it as well as abuse the system for uncalled for reasons ( I’ll leave that to your imagination to interpret ).
I can keep going but i won’t. The fact that you think these people are attention seekers is just plain retarded. I don’t seek attention i just end up with it. I play my characters and i keep my socializing to a minimum i mean bare minimum. I do these things and they like me for it. The fact that I keep getting requested for help and role fulfillment on a regular basis regardless of my social standing and my role in guild events just proves I know what I’m talking about.
Also the fact that I get by with absolute crap rng luck makes it even more strange. The fact that you equate these people with attention seekers because its attention; proves there point that RDF should be a feature in the game. They dont have to put up with players like you putting them down any longer than they have to.

Fortunately wrath ps exists, so blizzard can start leaving that money on the table too.
I think it’ll come this year but at the end or when cata comes
game will be beyond dead by then. after lich king dies noone is going to play this game. so basically well have just had a full year of miserable crappy experience that never got better because blizzard refuses to listen or communicate with us, and then when its far too late, theyll go ‘surprise’ to an empty room. Sounds about right for this miserable company. They havnt learned a single thing in 20 years of operating an mmo.

i mean, blizzard has to be terrified. its been a long time since mmos came out, and now there are 3 serious threats coming (throne and liberty, riot mmo, and ashes of creation) as their playerbase is already falling to FF14. Rumors are that dragonflights sales were terrible because people dont trust blizzard anymore, which is why they hired chris mensen back in a desperate move to save the company

Ooooh lordy, the doomsayin. The rumors this, the rumors that. Its all fake news. There’s no sources that back any of that up and we both know it.
It doesn’t have to be made bad to fail. It hits their target audience, sales spike for a moment. Hype wears off, people peel off for the next big thing or go back to wgat they were doing before abd WoW retains its throne.
I mean that’s how most MMO games are being played.
You do the content and then you take a break until new content is out.
I just don’t see riot making a bad game especially since they have the crab working on it
And it would also be brand new and I think it’ll hold an audience a lot longer than 2 months.

He was hated by WoW players, I’m sure after whatever mmo riot releases he’ll be hated there too.
That’d be defined as a miracle, not a jab against Riot, but people are just terrible these days. Just use the retail forums these days and put your biased towards retail aside for a moment and realize that people are just toxic and petty these days.
