I’ve only ever played alliance and only ever played on PVP servers and recently switched to Horde so I could play with friends. My current 50 toon has about 4-5 days of total playtime. The experience so far has been…illuminating. I thought Horde were pretty bad with the griefing and I was at the forefront of voicing my opinion on how pathetic Horde could be and the sh-t I talked was pretty heavy.
Then I played Horde and learned what true griefing was. Wow, no pun intended, Alliance has turned griefing into a fine art. Absolutely epic, bravo. I now understand how Horde feels(in my very short experience on this side) and as the title says, my sincerest apologies to you guys. I honestly think I would feel dirty switching back to Alliance, even though I would much prefer to play that side. keep fighting the good fight Horde, I think I have changed my mind on who the good guys actually are.
Also you’re personal experience doesn’t reflect the actual fact that both side grief the same.
I’ve played both too and it’s the same crap, just different character models.
Don’t need you to change your mind, you’re allowed to be wrong.
If one side was worse than the other, than you wouldn’t be seeing a near 50/50 split on PvP server, you’d have more people leaving one side rather than both side equally losing people from griefing.
and if your claim that Alliance is somehow worse was true, then the data would show a higher percentage of Alliance on PvP servers to reflect that, which it doesn’t.
Both side are filled with griefers who MC you off boats, camp the Ratchet roof, sit at Nightmare incursion portals, or shoot you while you’re doing your Maraudon WO farm.
Wait what’s this? You joined “the crying horde” and are now crying??? lmao
Both sides gank, it’s part of the game. But I will never forget when Horde farmed wpvp alliance in bfa, then when Shadowlands came out we were destroying horde in torgast and they cried so hard devs had to make them immune to attacks in wpvp.
its always been this way (I main both) but play Horde more on SoD specifically due to not wanting to grind exalted WSG/AB on multiple characters / gnome will always be the bis race in my preference
Full raids of alliance will sit at the crossroads, just like full raids of horde will sit atop the Lakeshire inn.
Solo rogues will stalk Hillsbrad, just as solo rogues will stalk Duskwood.
Pretending that the other team isn’t just people with a different taste in aesthetic (or people with friends who have a different taste) isn’t gonna make you anything but angry.
yep, and this is where you outed yourself from lacking understanding. legit noone raids and griefs lakeshire other than solos with the exception of SoD p1 pushing r3 in the first week.
My guy, there is literally a guild on my server called Redridge Redemption who are devoted to getting payback for what the Horde did in Redridge phase 1. They were there constantly, day in day out, mowing us down from the safety of their roof. They hid under the bridge, in the towers, in the keep. The hills were alive with Orcs and crawling with Boomkin kill squads.
Just because you haven’t experienced it doesn’t mean it never happens, which funnily enough was the entire point of my post in the first place
Heck of an analysis. My sample size is 4-5 days of playtime, don’t read too much into it. Thank you for allowing me to be wrong, the griefing I’ve seen as Horde is orders of magnitude greater than I ever saw as Alliance. And yes, I get that I am one player with one single experience. In any case, I have embraced my new Horde overlords and shall endeavor to support the cause. I hear we’re wicked good in Battlegrounds
EXACTLY OMG LOL. your your your your server server server do you understand now?
your words not mine. this isnt a thing. likely your server only.
further understanding for you, would it be fair to say every server on SoD has the same problems as Crusader strike? (streamer server) is WoW a streamer dominant game? No, only 1 server is. do you understand now
