I mean evoker gets their own legendary and dracthyr have a dozen dracthyr-specific quests even past the Reach intro so on that front it’s pretty close to DKs (and DHs, sort of, since DH came out in an expansion where the design mandate was to make all classes a hero class of sorts)
Also DH was also nowhere near as busted as Wrath launch DK
Trust me I’ve been playing WoW since 04 I know how busted hero classes have been and while I’m happy to say Evoker was no where near as busted they have been fun to play even with the silly limited range.
There’s no reason they shouldn’t have done this from the beginning. Especially with the whole “visage day” thing when you got to either stormwind or orgrimmar. I really don’t see why it hasn’t been done already, or isn’t coming soon.
Personally, I would exchange everything we have today in visage, for the playable version of the other races, and I believe that most dracthyr players would also exchange.
They should have simply copied the other races to be the visage form, and invested more in the drachthyr form, after all, that’s what really matters here.

Dracthyr def should have been eligible to use transmog in dragon form… it feels weird and wonky only having shoulders,belts and the weird barber armor.
Visage form i wish we could change… im not a fan of the elfs, ive seen npcs with other races and im sitting here, why cant we? i honestly would want to change mine to something else…
would love to see more colour options but a mix of 2 like example red blending with orange for the primary colour and markins colours as your other choice - purple and green mixed with gold etc.
more body patterns / markings
Snout customs - i would like to put horns on the faces other than rhino,horned,barbed,shimada (while some look like stretched face meshes)
more tail / tail ridge options - i want to see some that can cover the whole tail in spikes/etc
body forms that resemble maby lizards / wyrms or something like lets say example id love a body type thats like a thorny devil with the bumps and spikes throughout the entire body / chameleon with curled tail,face horns and 3 toes xD
so forth
glyphs maby give them other dragon forms like the guards warrior leap, normal mounting or the 4 legged versions + leap + running wild like worgen, give them new animations to replace hover,other spells
Like the idea of separate transmog options, although im almost certain in combat visage form is coming. Just would be too ironic to release in an expansion named “Dragonflight”, so TWW in it is.

I’d also love for a Dracthyr faster swim speed racial, a lot of our customizations have fins, from the crest, to ears, to tails and we have wings as well that can act as large fins to push us forward while swimming.
Druids are the only class that’s OP in any open and instanced content. They get stealth, travel form (faster ground movement speed) travel form #2 (faster swimming speed which Dracthyr should get for reasons I mentioned above) AND now in War Within they get a flight form that’s much better than Dracthyr flying racial? (Doesn’t dismount you when you land, dragonflying and most likely going to be instant cast like reg flight form is) also forgot they can loot, gather herbs, etc all without leaving flight form.
Why don’t Dracthyr get all the cool things that would make sense but druids do? This has now turned into a Druid hate comment.
I just want them to seperate visage and dragon transmog. I want to use the tier sets but the shoulders and belts just do not work even a little bit with the barber shop armor.
