My Pet My Everything

Hey Blizz.
Please make changes on pets, right now if you want a strong pet you use a cleefhoof for basically everything.
Mechs for exemple dont bring anything good to the table and even if you dont play BM (in thia case you cant use a clefhoof) any ferocity pet is better that the other two types.
Please consider.
Thanks.

Huh? You match the pet to your transmog? Is this your first day playing hunter?

What?!?!?!?!??!
You won the interwebz buddy.

My pets are thematic.

My tauren has a pair of alpacas
My undead has a pair of bone dinos or dead dogs
My Night Elf has a pair of Hippos
My Borg has a pair of robo kitties

I know if I was a real hunter I would be concerned w/ specs and damage and all that.

Honestly as is the Hunter pet taxonomy doesn’t even make sense. We have hounds with wolf animations and some even with WOLF in the name…

I want the ability to use any pet I want and choose their spec again. It was one of the best changes and now they’ve returned to the stone ages with “YoU mUsT UsE iT bEcAuSe FaMiLiEs!”

This time infinity squared. Due to leech, ferocity pets are better than tenacity pets which makes so little sense. I want to be able to choose my pet spec again in the worst way.

I miss my mechanical squirrels.

Honestly, they need to do 2 things to make pets better for hunters. Go back to legion style pets where we could choose their spec, and find a way to bake Blink Strikes into our spec so all pets can utilize it and therefore would have a much easier time of NOT having movement issues in combat.`

If this came back I would go from this:

I recently dusted off my undead hunter (been enjoying him a lot, might even get him up to SL), and rediscovered what I’d named his pets.

His main pet is a vulture named Patience (she’s just waiting for him to finally stop moving). In BM spec, his secondary pet is a black windserpent named Discipline (“Remember: patience, discipline…”). I’m pretty pleased with that, to be honest.

My Night Elf Huntress… Uses a sniper rifle. She’s not afraid to use it.

I’m hoping 10.0 does a overhaul on the pet spec and give it a tree as well. What I DO expect them to do is treat Exotic Beast as a buff than a privilege ability. There’s so many pets I wanna use but cannot because I gotta be a Beast Mastery. Just remove that taming requirement, turn BM’s taming ability extension into a buff to include additional abilities, which in turn allows EVERY tamable pet, including previously non-exotic beast to end up with these now-included extensive abilities. Every hunter gets their favorite pet, Beast Mastery also gets wider choices of pets not limited by solely needing to use exotic pets like before.

Of course, pet spec that is meaningful… Tenacity sucks at tanking, Cunning is fine-ish, and Ferocity does everything… Just useless to go with anything else and being forced to pick a certain pets because of it. I want a Sabertron but noooo, it isn’t Ferocity… Thanks Blizzard…

So this inspired me to do a little research, and I think I’m going to need to swing by Felwood and get myself one of those undead-looking deer. I just can’t decide if it would be better to name him “Zombi” or “Zambi”.

Zambi, definitely Zambi…
