Every rune is easy to get, you just have to read the guide. So it this point you should just get them as you level rather then go to a 3rd party website to follow a guide to get them. But Classic is all about that tedium.
Zoomers: “We want the classic experience”
Also Zoomers: “Whaaah this is too hard. We need quality of life improvements. Leveling takes too long. I can’t make any money. I can’t afford my skills.”
Bro are you sure divine storm is east to get??
Just looked at the guide and it’s 4 quests to do. The hardest part will be death chaining your way up a tower (or wasting time to get a group) to get the Althalaxx Orb at the start. If that is hard to you then i dunno what to say.
money determines what they can do with the idea…
wake up…
they’re on a budget…
budgets are composed of…what?
money!..correct!..very good!..you’re learning!
think…before…you wax contrarian.
criticism is not…“not liking”…
it is hope for improvement…
you’re a very 2 dimensional thinker.
Why would this be flagged? i mean really?!!!
which is why i refer to them as ‘insulting’…
they toss us scraps from their table…
and some of you are good grateful little
pups…some not.
flagged for realism…
Yea, I like how they split up the leveling and have been enjoy myself for the most part… I have never been a fan of vanilla’s leveling process due to be incredibly slow, grindy and boring. 25, being the current cap makes it feel better and finding myself enjoying it, because it doesn’t feel like I’m climbing mount Everest with no equipment. Plus I’m gonna be able to be a tank lock sounds hilarious to me, enjoying myself and I hope everyone else is as well.
You could all ways start your Own raid, it’s only a 10m dungeon takes what maybe 15 -20 minutes? 25 man’s can take a bit longer to put togather though.
I agree, i like auto attack but can we have that for all of my spells and abilities?
leave it to retail players and well have a SOD boost in the shop, sad state this games in lol
What’s stopping you from organizing your own raid with whatever requirements you want? If you insist on being a follower, then don’t complain about how other people go about leading.
I honestly wrestle with my thoughts on SoD. When it initially was announced, I didn’t keep up with all of the details of it and based on the title alone, I was anticipating more… “world event” sort of things? Zone events or weird little out of place discovery hubs almost like archaeology digs (but minus the shovels and fragments stuff). I didn’t realize SoD was classic + a smattering of new spells (most of which are in the retail version of the game anyway).
I don’t have a problem with the discovery portion of the rune system. I’ve discovered a few organically, via public chat suggestions, as well as websites like wowhead and I personally find them all to be equally satisfying.
But in terms of the “discovery”, I was hoping for more to be discovered. Something more than just… another spell or three to make the leveling process perhaps easier and certain specs more viable. Puzzles and riddles and little cookie crumb trails leading to new (or rehashed) quest hubs, long, comical questlines that lead to untold stories and unique gear. I just have the constant sense that something is missing from this experience, and maybe it’s because I was expecting too much (or evidently something Blizzard wasn’t advertising in the first place). I also realize that this is just phase 1 and I completely respect that. But if it can’t hook me (and many others) in now, what’s to keep us playing beyond these first few months or whathaveyou?
It is absolutely 100% different from retail, yes. But the use of spells that are already being utilized in retail makes it identify more like retail. I hope that makes sense. It’s like how some classes received completely new abilities while others got what they already have… in retail. Not a good thing or a bad thing but… a meh thing for me at least.
I have a similar story and that’s why I never thought of playing SoD. I just play on retail casually, because there’s more to do and I can queue for any group or raid content.
I enjoy watching Asmongold’s playthrough and I’ll see how the new raids play through his PoV.
same here but im also disabled. Imagine doing all of this while also being disabled. You have it so easy.
Yea. i agree with the rest of you here on the forums. Everyone should just log in at level 25 with full epics and when we get to 60 in SOD finally, we should auto get full set of epics… Thats about what you all are asking for, am I right?
SOD sucked hard from day 1…the entire game was reduced to standing in a single spot camping spawns for hrs to complete a quest…You were doubly gimped if you didnt play a range class. I found SOD frustrating, overcrowded and unplayable.
