A few years ago, my brother and I played wow together. He played Horde and I always played Alliance. He told me that he’d prepurchase the new expansion for me if I used the boost that came with it to make a horde healer. So I boosted a Horde druid and was his sidekick. We pvpd together and it was a lot of fun. I realize that If he came back to wow now and we wanted to play together, we wouldnt be able to do so for quite some time that I don’t even think it’s worth it. There’s so much grinding to do before we could actually even begin to enjoy the game. Too much.
WoW was better before azerite gear and essences and corruption and rng pve gear being BiS. Having a system where important abilities are based an external system such as gear is such a bad design. Talent trees and glyphs were/are the way to go. At least they aren’t so grindy and rng based… makes me sad and frustrated…sometimes simplicity is better…
