I really like these changes, personally I feel like Assassin is already very strong, but is overshadowed by Sub rogue. With covenant abilities being hit with another nerf, Sub rogue will fall back in line. Because of this I don’t think the 5% buff to Assassin is needed.
Another thing is that Podtender should be untargettable by any heal/benefecial spell in PvP if we’re gonna keep it. The Priest Power Infusion should be reduced to 10% Haste or 15% haste in PvP. I don’t think that DH needs more damage, but rather needs more defensives (Another charge of their dodge would be so dope or give them Demon Armor)
For Warlocks just make Demon Armor a class passive, it’s basically mandatory in PvP and it wouldn’t hurt to up their survivability because they have no mobility.
Revert the Dampening Change, all these in combined would make the perfect PvP meta imo.
Stahhhhhp with the armor… That only stops phys damage, which is barely anything right now. Just make it % damage reduction just like D stance from wars. If anything I’d push for UA to baseline be able to be on 3 targets in pvp, and make a new pvp talent that makes our shieldwall a shorter cooldown with multiple charges or something not 3 min.
Fireball and Scorch damage should not increase
chaos bolt damage remain the same, but base cast time reduced by 0.5 sec.
Demon Armor increnase armor by 300% and hp by 10%
I want to see the meta change because I hate how it is right now, it’s not fun to play in at all. The OP created this post in an attempt to help all players that participate in PvP and specifically asked that if you don’t like it provide constructive feedback why so that we can work together.
Ehhh >_> I can get my cast time down to like 1.8 for the initial and 1.3 for the second cast… I don’t think we need the ability to fire off 2 chaos bolts in under a second with power infusion. Thaaaat’s not the right approach. Destro and Afflic need ways to survive when they get locked down, they don’t need more damage, they have good damage. The problem is surviving and getting casts off vs this mongo meta.
So you want to further discourage people from swapping to other covenants? This would make good covenants acceptable and make bad covenants really really bad. This is a bad change.
I could be wrong, but I think this would actually be a net positive change for convoke.
15% sounds good and all until you realize that all you do is turn a 1500 death strike heal into a 1725. Unless you meant make it heal for 25% up from 10%, which actually would be a good change.
Unnecessary. Ignore pain is hardly the issue with Warrior.
Targeting WOG is a poor solution, you should be targeting Healing Hands and Hand of the Protector talents.
Ret will need something to replace the healing–likely not going to happen without a class overhaul
Doomwinds is fine. People are abusing a bug.
Warlocks don’t need more survivability
If you think this will solve the issue of pets dying, you’re wrong.
Maybe if you were this good at predicting the future in arenas you wouldn’t be calling for most of these nerfs
