My most recent M+ experience

We pulled the group after first boss in HOA that has the relics on a 17.
The healer used an invis pot, pulled a group of mobs (not sure how), died, asked why we pulled a group.
Then left because we didn’t have invis pots…
Why is this game full of insanely toxic, min-max, players that aren’t even good or smart?

We were doing wo… It’s an extra 10 seconds…

Like these things are reportable right?

people leaving keys is not reportable.

Seems pretty counterproductive to pugging anything if people can leave on the slightest whim and even receive a benefit when the key completes.

is any complaint bait to you?

I understand if the run felt bad, but we were on the way to 2key. (My run includes wo on that pull for % and we pulled extras to skip the pack before the third boss). He just left because we didn’t have invis…

I know with the new report system coming out in 9.2.5 there is a mark to report if they are “Blocking team progression”. I’d argue that’s a legitimate report right?

I don’t think leaving a key will ever be reportable/punishable

That guy wasn’t good or smart… He made the mistakes and was the one forcing a min-max. I was heated when I typed it, but the question still stands. If you see the picture it was literally a response to not having invis pots. The two deaths are 1 from him tanking the first boss slam and the 2nd is from his invis pot issue.

The dungeon had a high possibility of being a 2 key.

Was in a NW on my warlock, tank pulled some extra. We were 68.8% when we got to the big pack before amarth. We asked if we should skip, tank pulled anyway. We died, and then the key holder said “we didn’t need that pack”. The tank said “dude, it’s my route” and left the group. We were 15 minutes in, still plenty of time to key it. Also of note, there’s nothing left that CAN be skipped after that point. It was extra no matter what.

Was it disrespectful? Yes. Was it unnecessary? Yes.

But I wouldn’t create a system to punish him. He’s punishing himself. And in ~1200 keys this expansion, this has only happened a handful of times.

Yesterday I pugged a Plaguefall 16 and two chest with a couple of deaths. Everyone in the group was competent and kind enough.

Everyone in the game is therefore not toxic. Because I did a key and it went fine.

Im waiting for the fallout next tuesday when cross faction happens that will be a fiasco w people shadowing pulling not knowing routes etc

if you put ` before and after your link, it will grey out and you can link it.

wowhead.com is what it will look like

Not sure why you would waste the gold when you need percentage yet (unless you did the nonstandard path) and in two packs you have wo to skip the stairs.

Just put them on ignore and move on. I can count the number of people that leave M+ this season on one hand. Oddly I have more people leave random heroics when I tank for the satchel. People were not prepared for the mechanics of streets and gambit.

I saw

I seriously thought a new fallout game was coming out D:

not sure why you think there’s a “fallout” because clueless people will still stay clueless and people who knows what to do will remain the same. And as always the clueless will complain that no one wants to carry them :person_shrugging:

I do a handful of keys. I get at least all 8 15s on 3 characters each week and have each season this expansion. 90% of those are in pugs anywhere from 15-20. I experience very little toxicity in keys. Every once in a while if a run just isn’t going to happen someone will leave or I will leave, it’s not toxic it’s just a waste of time. One perspective is that some players are not there to only complete the key they are there to time it, and if the key isn’t going to be timed then it is a waste of their time. Not saying it’s right or wrong but just something to think about. Most of the time the “toxicity” comes from players calling out other players for their mistakes. Most of the time it’s a “come on” or “what are you doing” or “pull let’s go.” I’d hardly call that toxic and that’s about all I experience. To be honest in most of my keys no one says a word. You might say hello or click or wo but that’s about it.
