Edit: uploaded this at 2am after finishing and wanted to add my thoughts.
BM side of the shared tree is rough. I dont tank and had trouble finding enough spells to fill the side.
Every spell that has a description to the sides has changed (mostly in a major way). Dont take the icons for granted just because you recognize them as an existing skill in game.
I made this tree as an example after reading multiple posts lately about wishes for blizzard to turn monk into an exclusively melee focused healer.
Talents were capped at 0/2 since that appears to be the direction blizzard is heading with their current tree iterations.
Please let me know what you think. I’d like the feedback.
My only gripe on this is that crane jab basically destroys the spec’s ability to deal directed healing since Enveloping Mist is on a 7 sec cd and the vivify replacer is on a 20.
My vision for Fistweaving is 0 casting (essence font excluded). Aside from Crane Walk, Essence Sphere, Expel Harm (buffed by consuming available healing spheres around you), and Life Cocoon, you’re focus should be on weaving your melee attacks to keep Chi-Ji’s Grace and Mini Combo at full stacks while supercharging your next Eneveloping Mist with 50% increased healing while it’s on cd.
None of that changes the fact that you have zero ability to react to damage effectively.
Crane Walk requires enveloping mist on the target, Essence Sphere is a single Essence Font buff, Expel Harm has a 15 sec cd for MW, and Life Cocoon is a cd. You can maybe heal a single target taking damage but the moment you hit an aoe ramp on a mob (Fungalstorm for a quick example) you run out of answers quickly.
I toyed with adding an atonement style damage converted to healing on the Mark of Chi-Ji. What would you imagine fair? 30% damage to healing on marked target? 100%?
Assuming Mark of Chi-Ji is only on a single target, you could probably go with 50% with little issue.
EDIT: Hells, 100% probably wouldn’t even be that unbalanced.
