Playable for Alliance as: Undead Night Elves, Undead Humans

Playable for Horde as: Undead Belfs (currently in game), Forsaken

9.0 is expected to be filled with death, and new classes are always directly related to the theme of the expansion.

-The alternative to a dark ranger is a necromancer, but is there anything the necro ‘archetype’ does that DK does not? In wc3 necro’s also acted as debuff bots. However, warlocks and shadow priests already fill that role, at least functionally speaking.

-The other option that has been spoken about is the Tinker. Thematically, the potential is certainly there, but the concept but does not really mesh with the narrative’s current trajectory.

This expansion has mostly been about the Banshee Queen. Nathanos was also given far more character development, who just so happens to be a dark ranger.

And there was the controversial Burning of Teldrassil and Darkshore Warfront, where we saw Delaryn Summermoon (Ranger), along with a host of other sentinels struggle with their undeath.

It could be a 2 spec class, ranged and melee dps/tank. Ranged would act closer to the Legolas archetype than hunter counter parts. Ranged Archer obviously, but more emphasis on the use of magic damage. Melee would dual wield, like Sylvanas against Saurfang.

I’d prefer the Artificer[tinkerer] that was in one of the alleged leaks. Especially if we are revisiting Northrend, death magic, and necromancy. It makes more sense to me that the horde and alliance would produce more constructs as they cannot be resurrected against you.

Considering the technology from the dwarves/dark iron, draenei, blood elves, army of light, mechagon, goblins, iron horde and nigjtborne there are plenty of races capable of becoming this new class.

My money is on a new spec for every class.

Would make more sense to rework one of rogue spec into range dark ranger (one with dark magic), just like they gave hunters melee spec

My money is on reskins of current classes.

All the same spells; just with different pyrotechnics.

I don’t see the difference between Dark Ranger and Marksmanship Hunter, personally.

Also: NO MORE ELVES.

I doubt it’s going to happen, it’s probably going to be something like Tinker.

I’d like to see Dark Ranger much more, though.

New classes for Blood Elves I say yes! If Forsaken get to join us in another edgy legacy class Im even more into it!!

Might even switch main if it will have a tank or heal spec.

I dont see the love for tinkerers tbqh it sounds like engineering and we already got that as a profession.

My guess would be, that Blizzard has something so awesome planned, something players have wanted for a long time.

A Phone App, right at that moment make sure and snap as many pics of the crowed as possible.

1: What Zord will the Dark Ranger use?
2: Will the Dark Ranger have his/her own theme song?
3: Will the Dark Ranger start out evil and have a redemption arc?

Nah, it’ll be either a New York Ranger (I’m gonna camp on the names Messier and Lundquist) or Ford Ranger.

Alrighty, how about this,

What if all this time Blizzard Developers have secretly been working on a Much more up to date engine to run wow with. Something that utilizes the new Ray Tracing graphics cards from Nvidia.

This year at Blizzcon, Blizzard will unveil their new much improved graphics as well as a complete overhaul of all classes as well as the entire world of World of Warcraft.

Also, maybe thrown in a few phone applications for some fun laughs as well.
