My love for this class kept me going most of these 16 years of playing wow

This is the first time in 2 or more years that I now feel this game is unplayable and has diverged too much into something that feels foreign to me vs comfortable.

I’m sorry you feel that. Care to elaborate why now, versus Shadowlands as an example?

Personally, I feel the rug was pulled from underneath me soon after the release of BFA, and the game is still suffering from it. I can point to a lot of factors, but I primarily look at Azerite traits and “play our way” as the primary culprits–a vengeful or vindictive approach to balancing builds. It seems to be a lot better with the current talent system but you still find it here and there (cough Fire Mage cough).

A good example was the quick retribution to Snake Eyes builds, which allowed Slice and Dice to efficiently replace RNG The Bones. When players began using it, Blizzard quickly nerfed it well below par to enforce “playing correctly”.

I enjoyed BFA rogue gameplay i just didnt like the corrupted gear thing later into the expansion I had a blast before then.

All the azerite power ups were passive.

You have my exact same story. Except I switched to heals. It’s ok, but not as fun as a rogue.

Agreed, we are pushing for that change for all rogues to feel solid in their base kit with impactful abilities instead of all this cd reliance. If interested please take a look at this thread.

We are working on an assassination and outlaw rework as well, it just takes a lot of time to out it all together. Let is hear your thoughts and chime in, rogues gotta rogue again and that aint really flying until mechanical changes are made.
