My issues as a new evoker (PvP)

It would be helpful if we had an option to simply click on an enemy player and have abilities like DEEP BREATH and LANDSLIDE automatically cast at the enemy player without the need for mouseover macros or having to aim it with a ground target macro. We can keep the current way of doing it for those who like it, but there should also be the optional way of casting it like I described.

Because right now it just feels clunky using them in a fast paced PvP environment with all the micro crowd control.

Also, our CC is on too long of a cooldown. Seriously, why is our “untalented” knockbacks on a 1.5 minute cooldown and we need to waste a talent to get it to 45 seconds? It should be on a 1 minute cooldown and the talent should get it to 30 seconds.

And now for the noob question because I’m still new at playing evokers. Can our defensives be dispelled? I’m referring to Obsidian Scales and Renewing Blaze? If so, it would seem silly that our only true defensive spells on a 1 minute or longer cooldown can easily be removed by something that can be spammed nonstop in pvp.

Why are our racials even in the talent tree at all? Are any other races racials in the talent trees? As far as i know, no, not even dh racials have wasted talents to improve their racials.

On top of that, im using some of them and they have a minimal impact anyways, so they are essentially dead talents.

Demon hunters can be two races, and those races can be many other classes. Evoker and Dracthyr are silo’d together (at least for now).

The talents are also amazing flexibility spending on the content/ affix week. I realize that this is a PvP post but we’re talking about a general class tree, and blizzard just doesn’t care about pvp.

I can see how this would be nice at first while getting used to it, but this would absolutely ruin the flexibility of the abilities.

I’d take a pvp talent that let me instant-cast deep breath on a target. At least I’d be less likely to miss, or worse, overshoot then by too far and move out of my tiny attack range. Nothing worse then hitting my target with my one stun then having to jog back towards them to use my RANGED(lol) spells.

Honestly, our current pvp talents are such double-edged swords that it’s frankly insulting. Like the LoS issues that affect friend and enemy alike with the deep breath talent and the short time limit of shroud’s duration and the cast time to use it to name just a couple.
