I struggle with healing against some priests.
My main concern is I can’t land cc or stop them from engaging in a fear because of 3 things:
If they run in and I see it coming, I can’t stop them because they cast fade which by passes any roots or spells in general. How do I counterplay that?
2nd: If I manage to fake the fade, by casting a full hex, they death the second one. I have to double fake 2 hex’s to get 1 cc.
Lastly, since they have a ranged 3 second stun and run at the speed of light, I find it hard to avoid fears. They fade all my roots, stun me and insta kill my tremor before fearing.
I found a method that involved placing an incap totem down and projecting it on the priest last second, but weak auras has proven to me at higher ratings that any totem can be insta killed.
How do I counterplay this (Constructive Critism) please.
Tremor totem is pretty easy to kill, and even then it has a 54 second cooldown if memory serves me. Fade/fear/stun cooldowns are easily 30 seconds or lower
you can drop tremor and then move it behind a pillar and he cant kill it
fade only lasts 1 second so they have a really short window to get value from it. I would try and root them while they are still really far away and then static them away after fade ends.
you can ground this stun if it looks like they wanna use it. Bonus points if u drop grounding behind a pillar so they cant kill it.
after he finally gets close you can lasso him into a panda and then half hex off and then thunderstorm away.
seems that frost shock and kite prolly would help best against priest in 2s. grounding like bubble said is also something. seems ur having trouble with not being able to range the priest cause ur trying to root them while they fade. also i have no idea what im even saying. also sometimes u lose. u have to lose to be a winner
