My horror story: Tides of Vengeance on an Evoker

I recently created resubscribed and created an account for my teenage son so that we could play the game together. My intent was to level a zandalari druid (heal or tank) while he plays a blood elf mage. For the past week, I have been pushing to unlock the zandalari race as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, I elected to do this on an evoker I made. I have learned that the last Tides of Vengeance quest chain is broken for evokers. Specifically, It’s Alive! has not been available to evokers since November of last year. I submitted a ticket to support to see if they can push the quest to my log but think it will take a long time for them to respond even if they do elect to intervene.

My question is can I redo the War Campaign quest series (starting from the Heart of Azeroth quest in Silithus, then Ready for War, and then Tides of Vengeance) on another character without having to do Zandalar Forever! on that character? And will this combined with completion of Zandalar Forever! on the evoker allow me to unlock the zandalari? There is no way I want to go though the Zuldazar quests again.

Yes, you should be able to do the War Campaign on a different character to meet the unlock criteria. You will need to do the BfA intro quests (using the skips are fine) along with grabbing the Heart of Azeroth to avoid any questing weirdness.
