My halo is not healing the same amount as the other holy priest

Hello! Sorry for bother you.

As the post topic states, my halo is not healing as much as the other holy priest in my guild. The amount can rise up to a 100% of difference in some tries.

Is there something I’m not doing correctly? Our ilvl is almost the same and I have pretty good trinkets. Also with other skills, I’m healing more than him.

I can provide logs if you need to check details. Thanks!

I have two immediate thoughts. Are you comparing both the healing and overhealing? If it’s just healing done than chances are that the other priest is simply casting it at a more ideal time (immediately before raid-wide damage)

You should also ensure that your hero talent that increases Halo healing done by 30% is selected.

Just looking at your logs, your overhealing is normally 70%+ on Halo specifically.

Where you can start improving is casting during specific boss mechanics that you want to counter, rather than reactively. If the boss does an ability that hits the whole raid for a decent chunk of damage, start planning to have Halo running while that ability is going out.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I’m comparing total healing done by Halo (including overhealing) for me and the other priest.

Your chosen timing for Halo seems to be rather fickle and random as opposed to casting them when damage is going out.

Take this log for example, why would you Halo the very moment you enter combat? Egg breaks don’t occur until Halo is basically over.

Sympathize with you for 1.3 seconds,my advice is to give up holy and come into embrace of shadow, after all,my shadow vampiric embrace is much more powerful than any other healing, :kissing_heart:
