My game is downloading itself again!? 50 GB

Literally. Logged off 2 hours ago, and came back to my Battle net launcher on a different build? It seem like the drop down menus are different for choosing what version of games I can choose from.

Anyway, every single game wants me to reinstall the game because apparently I don’t have it, even WoW.

I put the option to locate the game and told it where it was, but it still going forward with download the whole game again.

I just really hope this thing doesn’t wipe out my addon settings. I went to my game folder and the game is still there - the folder weights a lot, so I don’t know where and to what is this launcher installing 50 GB of data.

Please help.

I was able to recover Overwatch and Hearthstone. However, I think clicking install on the Bnet launcher deleted WoW, so yeah. Great f-ing system you have here, now I have to wait hours for this to finish downloading.

Same here, hope that i dont have to download the whole game again, waiting for a solution blizzard :)))

open bnet, click on wow, click on options, go to game settings, click game install/update. make sure the wow directory points to your wow install. if you have two because one just installed, find the one that contains your addons/screenshots and point it to that directory. does that fix it? you could also try clicking Scan for games and, back on the options page, run a scan/repair
