The Tormentors have been bugged since the end of SL. Some people are claiming that it’s been bugged since TWW prepatch, but that’s not the case. I, and many others, have been camping since the end of SL/beginning of DF and not a single Tormentor has spawned. Every time I make a ticket I’m told to make a bug report and this is how the conversation always goes. I swear, it’s all bots with copy and paste responses:
GM: “Make a bug report, I assure you they are paying attention.”
Me: “How will my 1 bug report fix this when there’s hundreds, if not thousands of bug reports about it, completely unanswered, and unfixed?”
GM: “I assure you they are paying attention.”
…
Since they don’t want to fix it, I have a solution: Remove [Minions of the Cold Dark] from the meta, and have a vendor at the refuge that sells the mounts/mogs/pets that would have dropped from the Tormentors, and the currency could be Stygia, that way players still have to run around the Maw collecting currency. It’s a win/win for everyone. (I’m sure removing code is easier than fixing it).
