I like blue, it’s my favorite color.
That doesn’t mean I dislike any other colors, I actually really like yellow and green. Me saying I like blue doesn’t disqualify my love of other colors.
When people say BLM they aren’t saying that others lives don’t matter and if you can’t understand this I feel sorry to you.
All lives matters and even though I am latino and not black, black lives matter and I stand with them and ALL humans against police brutality.

Yeah but it could really be worded different for a “woke” movement, if it’s supposed to be Life Matters then why is it ONLY when black people are shot or unfairly beaten? I see no one standing up for Autistics in finding a job and living functional lives (70% of those die by suicide by the age of 30 but whee they’re not black right?) or anyone else for that matter. Just saying, we should probably change the movement name if that’s the case, cause we really haven’t done a good job of showing that “lives” matter at all in general if I’m being blunt.

I like to think we all do… my last 4 something years have been literal He double hockey sticks, but like Static Shock/Spider Man I hide my pain behind humor and diversion.
BTW did you see the story (and video) of the mom who threw her autistic son in the river to try to kill him. She ran away, people saved her son. She ended up killing him with a second attempt an hour later.
My 23 year old son is Autistic. It broke my heart to see a parent do that. My son needs more attention than his mom would ever give him for the few years he lived with her and I fear for him when I am gone.

People do stand up for peoples with special needs. People do stand up for the elderly. People do stand up for other humans.
There is a time and place to stand up for what you believe in. It’s very simple.
If police brutality disappeared tomorrow, it would barely reduce the amount of people killed by police because the vast majority of deaths by police are justified.
Even one innocent person losing their life is too much.

Mine was never that awful, but I’ve yet to pay her back for the years of verbal and emotional neglect and abuse either, had I been Jaina a mere “I am so sorry!” would not have been enough.

Do you have a problem with facts?
Aggressive police is a problem but not nearly as much as it’s being made out to be. The only real problem is that the police aren’t always held accountable for the unjustified deaths. But at the same time, they can’t be held accountable the same way a normal citizen can be. If they’re made to be too afraid to draw their gun it’s just going to end up in them getting killed.

A cop is 18.5 times more likely to get killed by a black person then a cop is to kill a black person. Sadly many people don’t realize this and take the thing that literally almost never happens unjustified and escalate it.

When a police officer is killed people are also outraged. At least I am.
The race, color, or creed of the person doing the killing or being killed is irrelevant.
No innocent human should be killed. No expectations.
The situation going on now is not sad because a black man died. It’s sad because an innocent human was killed.
