My faith in players has been restored!

Always good when people don’t throw a fit over a wipe.

I have a great luck at running into nice people! Sometimes they are helping me, sometimes I am helping them. The ones I like to cooperate the most with are the folks with the orange names. working together to accomplish something without muttering a word.

I had to turn off enemy player names in the world, because I hate the orange coloration of the names. I miss when we were all one color.

Come to think of it… they changed that because faction war. I think it’s time to change it back!

It’s been a while, but I was in a Mythic Sanctum of Domination transmog run once and some other hunter kept winning EVERYTHING. Admittedly, I was getting frustrated, but I didn’t say anything. At the end, they traded me a gun they won. They didn’t have to do that and honestly, I’m not sure if I would have done the same if I was walking away with so much loot. But they did it and I thanked them. It’s rare to see something like that.

Most of all my interactions with players in the game have always been nice.
It’s these ding dang forums you gotta watch out for. :dracthyr_hehe_animated:
Congrats on the boots!

I do that all the time when playing in the Horde but when I try out the Alliance a become mean.

You don’t use platers?

Nope! I’m weird. I’ve never found a nameplate addon I liked. Which, of course, makes tanking super interesting.

That’s really nice! Sometimes a little communication brings good results. I’d say majority players are nice, that is my experience.

Oops, sorry. It was an accident.

(Just in case it was me - I was hunting a specific world drop for a while)

Honestly, most of my server is nice. And even in pugs I don’t run into too many grumpy people. I think it’s the outlier experiences that stick out and make things seem worse than they are.

It wasn’t a selfless act.
He wanted to get laid.

Very few generous people out there.

I just wish they made a way to go back expansions to get transmog from LFR.

Thats above and beyond, good stuff. Ive done that before as well! ( giving end, not receiving end, but its good to know rhat was a pleasant experience for you)

I have had people give me sfuff before just not after i left the group

There are ways to queue for former expansion LFRs!

Rolled an Era toon on a new server, as soon as I got to Goldshire some guy bought vendor items I could equip, enchanted them, then traded them to me along with 10 gold. Having no characters on that server that was a HUGE hand up. As I kept questing I saw him doing it for others all night long.

I find, in Era, lots and lots of random positive interactions. I wish Retail had more of that.

Yes! I had a great experience last night. I went to the pre patch event on my DK and there was no one around… I was like “oh, well whatever, I will solo Hakkar because why not?” Start the fight, holding my own just fine… Then people start to show up and help! I was like, "oh that’s nice, we’ll get him down double quick! " I get Mind Controlled immediately and start killing the people who came to help one by one. And I mean killing them badly.
Until I was the only one left. Now you might wonder why this was such a good experience? Well I will tell you. They were all Alliance players.

Good times.

I was playing one of my 20, strutting a mog in goldhsire. Random dh opens trade gives me 6969 gold.

they uhm did? theres an npc for each lfr expansion.

At an event not too long ago the reward was the tyrs charger mount kinda flying horse thing. After participating for a few hours i actually got the mount to drop.
Another player messaged me congratulating me on my win saying that theyʻve been trying for weeks for that mount.
If you know me, I am very utilitarian. Just because something is rare or has special looks and such mean very little to me.
While i appreciated getting the mount i really doubted id ever use it so i messaged them back thanking them for the kind words and informing them that it was their lucky day as i really had no interest in the mount and that they could have it.
They were very thankful and happy to finally get something they were trying for. and i got some feel good vibes for doing it too.
Win win.
