Before the patch my average DPS was 105k with best Azerite traits, Best essences and 5 stacks of rank 3 haste. Now, pre patch has hit. And yes I underestand the lvl/damage squish. And I know that without corruptions, the damage output would be a lot less. BUT, After talking to many many people, the average dps seems to be 3-4k. In my 128 ilvl gear and simming EVERY talent the best I can pull is 2k. I went onto a raid test dummy and the best I could pull was 2.1k. THIS IS HORRIBLE. Looking for Enh shamans that are pulling 3-4k dps. if you exist, I would like to know what your stats are, trinkets, Talents, ETC. cos I must be doing something wrong

That seems really low … I can maintain 4-4.5 k easily as Ele.
Seems Enh is really low. and If you look at my gear and azerite traits, It doesnt make sense

Single target or AOE? Single target, I don’t see how ele or enh can pull 4-4.5k sustained dps. Not outside of burst windows anyway. 3k single target sustained at lvl 50 sounds pretty high for hitting one dummy w/no buffs.

ele is just fine right now. Enhance has got to be bugged for its damage and healing numbers to be tuned this low, its absurd

Yeah… Enhance damage is low, best I could manage single target was 2.7-2.8k, unbuffed no hero. Swapped to Ele and doing 3.5-3.7, really feels bad =(
yeah, everything is low. This is what I was worried about. They went in the way of WOD where they made our AOE decent (which atm is still very low) but our Single suffered greatly. self heal…i barely notice my hp go up. its stupid.

Why are you complaining about pre patch damage numbers? There hasn’t even been a true tuning patch yet, and tuning won’t even really get done until 3 weeks into SL
Tuning appears to be ongoing.
There were a bunch of tuning adjustments in this week’s patch as well as in daily hotfixes leading up to pre-patch launch, including aura modified adjustments to some specs.
If enhance damage is indeed undertuned, I don’t see why blizzard can’t spend a bit of time tuning it pre-launch which is still a ways off if they are tuning other specs (e.g., 5% buff to feral damage via aura modified in this weeks patch).
Because we’re not in shadowlands now, we’re in prepatch, and we’ll be in prepatch for the foreseeable future, since there is no release date. Therefore, it is reasonable to complain about current damage numbers as that’s all we have access too, especially since enhancement is currently one of the worst performing specs in the game at the moment. Any other questions?

Or, and hear me out - you could provide feedback about how the spec functions and what it needs/is missing instead of complaining about doing low damage for a couple months in content that means literally nothing. That way Blizzard can focus on making shadowlands better instead of wasting time tuning prepatch numbers 
Not only that, it just shows that baseline without the new legendaries and covenant abilities that the Enh shaman under performs. So, come SL, when these things are introduced we will still be under performing.
Relying on the borrowed power to fix our undertuned damage numbers is a horrible idea. Cause guess what every other class is also getting? “Borrowed Power”
Just let us have our general gripe fest about our overall damage to make ourselves feel better. We have other threads that are more focused on the actual specifics of our rotation that feel bad and where we’d like to see the buffs.
