I just don’t care enough about Undermine. I mean, the quests don’t suck or anything, even though it’s such a ridiculously small area, but when I’m done? I’m out. Good luck gobbos, not my problem anymore.
A lot of great areas you revisit from older content because you “enjoy” the area and/or you feel invested in the area. You want to work through the quests, you care about the content. Undermine? Nope. Some new goblins are now taking over for some old goblins. Cool. Whatever.

I like the Goblins and it’s a pretty unique area from anything else in WoW, we have a ton of medieval cities, tribal cities, underwater cities, steampunk scifi cities, elf tree city, lotr elf city, but we haven’t had anything that looked modern and grimy yet besides the Goblin starting zone.
I’ll be sad to see it go, and the car as well.

undermine felt like a vacation patch, like DF was a vacation expansion, nothing to do with the plot, just some adventure to do and move on
great fun tho, i like these little adventures, these other cosmics forces, fighting against concepts like the darkness, the light, the void, are like too much in power scale for our characters

Yes, that’s why they try to create a different theme with each patch. Some people will like some areas, others will like others. I only bought TWW to play the Goblins’ area. Now I’m committed and will probably play K’resh too, but that’s personal.

My only wish would be to let me drive the car everywhere. Hate to see that feature die like every thing else.

Sure, I get it, and I’m glad you enjoy it. I hope a lot of folks do. Just not my cup of tea. I wish that even when they have destination patches like this, they would still interact more with the rest of the world too. As an example, I wish more World Quests involved going and fetching things or doing things from other parts of old content. Could be comparable to the timewalking dungeons and raids, just give us some time walking quest hubs too.

Like what, Korthia? Siren Isles? I’ll take Undermine over either of those. Nazjatar and Mechagon were pretty cool, but I’ve only been back there a couple of times, and not for the nostalgia.
