My argument for adding High Elves to the Alliance

Alliance already has high elves. Void elves are high elves. Other than that, blood elves are high elves, their king just changed the name after arthas went through.

imagine your best argument for playable alliance high elves is desperately clinging to an adjective and rejecting all in game lore and dev commentary on the subject

No, the word is ā€œareā€. The name was changed by the king after arthas massacred them. The culture is the same, the people are the same (literally, people who were called high elves are still alive, and go by the term ā€œblood elfā€ because that’s what they decided they would be called). Blood elves are high elves.

They don’t -call- themselves High elves.

They refer to their -past- as being high elves.

They don’t -currently- call themselves like that.

Don’t -mistake- the name of a group with the name of a race.

Seems to be what you’re doing. They didn’t magically change their race by calling themselves blood elves. Therefore they are high elves.

You are the one saying that they change race by changing name.

Name of the race is not the name of a group. Even if it’s the same.

I’m saying the opposite of that. Are you just trolling or are you really this bad a reading comprehention?

It’s a name change. Blood Elves=High Elves.

The rest of the ā€˜arguments’ are just pointless.

Sorry. You implied that i say they are a different race by calling themselves a different thing.

Sorry if you can’t understand that it was you who brought up the ā€˜race change with the name’ thing. As a lazy and cheap attempt of a strawman.

Lazy and Cheap is the Alliance demanding another Blood Elf look alike.

This entire thread is about high elves not being in the alliance. They are in the horde, so they won’t ever be in the alliance except in void elf form. The most used excuse that people try to use to say high elves should be in the alliance is that blood elves aren’t high elves. You were saying essentially that blood elves aren’t high elves, but they are the same thing.

Write long nonsenses all you want.

High elves are Alliance. You have been given everything to see that they are there.

The helfers dont’ own this board or this topic. You have no right to tell anyone what they should do.
All this type of post does is prove what bullies helfers can be.

high elves are not an alliance race first and foremost. in fact they were the last race to join the alliance and they did so under compulsion and survival. they were also the very first to leave the alliance. secondly ā€˜high elves that became blood elves arent high elves anymore’ is such an incorrect statement its hard to know where to begin

blood elves are high elves. they changed the name. in every other respect they are the high elves

they possess the land of quel’thalas, the city of silvermoon, the sunwell, the farstriders, the magisters, the blood knights and an unbroken lineage of rulers. the blood elves did not abandon their past when they renamed themselves, it is those few individuals in the alliance who left their people, not the other way around

Mate that’s rude. Don’t you know helfer is an ethnic slur?

Funny, I recall Alleria being part of the Alliance, as well as the portal keeper in Boralus and all of the mages in Arathi.

Alleria’s a void elf, cobber.

Well why not add that to the long list of names and false accusations made in desperation by helfers? At this point they have a long list. lol!
