  • New Raid in the Maw with new class tier sets
  • More renown levels and continued covenant storyline
  • Flying unlocked through covenant storyline, with a unique flying mount/form for each covenant
  • Mawsworn Assaults & Invasion Points (the Mawsworn will begin a renewed attack on the existing Shadowlands zones, with new world quests and currencies to farm; Argus-style invasion points within the Maw that lead to other realms of Death for us to protect from Mawsworn invasions)
  • Heritage armors for Darkspear Trolls and Night Elves (storylines surrounding Vol’jin/Bwonsamdi for trolls and Tyrande/night warrior for the night elves)
  • New allied race customizations

What do you all predict?

Based on the current story, it’s very heavily implied that the 9.1 story revolves around Maldraxxus. The Maw won’t be utilized as a raid until much later during the final assault.

That makes sense. I will admit I only know the Kyrian storyline as I haven’t done the other three covenants yet. My GF is Maldraxxus and she mentioned she felt the new raid would have to do with Kel’Thuzad.

I want a WoW battle pet mobile game very very badly. I keep hoping for an announcement since the first time I heard about the concept years ago. PokĂŠmon go is still one of my favorite games, I hope it would be something like that.

Rather it will be in Torghast, the new final layer/floors of the Twisting Corridors (and much like ICC, the final fight will take place on the top of the tower)

This makes more sense imo.

They’ve already announced that flying will unlock with renown.

The Night Elves already got their heritage armor from Darkshore. Regardless that you are upset that there wasn’t some special little unlock/questline like the other races, the armor still is Night Elf exclusive and Based on Night Elf Heritage/History and is extremely iconic since it’s based on the armor that the female night elf wears in the original WoW cinematic…

as i stated:

Regardless of what it is technically and that you don’t think it’s heritage armor, it’s essentially heritage armor since:

  1. it’s exclusive for night elf players (no other race can acquire it).
  2. it’s design is solely based on night elf heritage/history/identity.

…exactly just like the other race heritage armor sets.

Furthermore, it’s literally based on the most iconic night elf outfit there is in all of Warcraft:

Yeah, I have to agree with Lore, Maw raid will likely be the last one, unless you are thinking the Jailer would bring the attack to us, but I think smacking a raid portal in Oribos might be a bit weird, and their are other ways they could get a last fight there if they wanted.

What are you talking about? The Warfront armors can be worn by anyone.

And regardless, you’re wrong on all counts. Ion has said in interview that every race will be getting an actual Heritage armor and questline.

Probably gonna be a raid in Ardenweald, seeing as it’s the Heart of the Forest the Jailer has to disable to escape. I don’t think they’d wait till 9.3 to have the end all be all boss actually do anything… (though Arthas/Y’shaarj/N’zoth might beg to differ)

But the different realm invasion point idea, I like it…a way to show some of the “infinite” realms of the Shadow Lands without actually having to create dozens of zones…
