Dailys - Rogue has to be the worst class in open world. You take insane damage and all your cooldowns for defense are on huge timers. I find myself constantly sitting down eating a biscuit and waiting for CD’s. Poison leech feels like it does nothing.
Pace of Dungeons - The changes to Garrote and Rupture applying to more than 1 target is great when you leave stealth. Too bad everyone in the group is so fast i can’t even enter stealth while running to the next pack of mobs trying to keep up with my teammates. The packs are spread out so usually the group mounts up and runs off. If i mount up and run with them there is a fraction of a second for me to demount and attempt to stealth and catch up to the tank before being put into combat and get in an actual worth while rotation in. Sometimes we can vanish and get our rotation in. Too bad its another long cooldown.
AOE damage assassin - tab targeting between every mob and trying to put rupture / garrote on as many mobs as possible is mind numbing. Trying to rotate between targets read their buffs and find targets without debuffs while trying to avoid mechanics is just too much considering other classes are just droping AOE bombs on packs for the same or greater damage. If it was something that scaled amazing by putting in the effort to do it i could understand it. It’s definitely the sweatiest AOE rotation of any class but its average DPS.
Pure damage class - everyone knows Rogue has no option to heal or tank. You are DPS. Make us great at DPS then. I expect the class to be harder to play so make the reward of playing a hard class dealing great DPS when done correctly.

Stealth doesn’t work and yes tab targeting without the range of acrobatic strikes is the worst gameplay change I’ve seen to date.

It won’t be so bad in higher keys because the whole room won’t get pulled but yea as mentioned stealth bugs and lack of range.

I just wish tab targeting worked better.
Spreading bleeds is rad when the pack is nowhere near other mobs.
they could fix stealth bug but no range with acro is really bad. after years this is really torture.
no but for real stealth is insanely broken
was in ashran earlier, literally could not use it at all. all alone in the woods, stealth randomly breaks. chilling alone at solar, stealth breaks.

My biggest gripe so far is big damage coming from stealth which also impacts hero talent.
It’s a big buzz kill to watch other classes waltz in blow up stuff while I try to get back into stealth.

What made me stop playing mut / sub in the first place. It’s absolutely just awful. I mean, you could make a mouseover for it, but… if I’m already running over there in the first place, I might as well tab target.
So, why is stealth just not working all of a sudden? I’ve noticed this as well. Seems like a lot of normal stuff just broke… on the Warlock side, Healthstones would be on perma cooldown after using one, even after leaving combat.
Felt like this playing WW Monk during BFA.

Using Deathstalker and Deathstalker’s Mark not applying with a Garrote open is VERY annoying.

More importantly… the amount of aoe is incredible and if your the only Melle then all the dots seem to target me. And with no self sustain I get owned. I know it will get better with less big pills but it’s actually crazy at the amount of crap you have to dodge
I mean I dunno about other rogues, but a typical arena match for me looks like this…
I do 12M damage.
Partner does 7M damage.
Opposing team member #1 does 12M damage.
Opposing team member #2 does 12M damage.
I do 500k healing
Partner does 3M healing.
Opposing team member #1 does 8M healing.
Opposing team member #2 does 8M healing.
Either I die or my partner dies. Every single time.
Why was recuperator nerfed. Why was leeching poison nerfed. Why was Kidney shot nerfed?
To top it off, stealth is bugged and we have a hero tree (and a class that fundamentally) relies on opening from stealth.
It’s just a garbage class at the moment, plain and simple.
You can report all the bugs you want, as many times as you want. Bliz won’t fix it or even acknowledge that it’s a problem.
Kidney shot - costs resources AND got nerfed to add 50% to the CD.
Blind DR’s with sap. Sap feel shorter (is it?)
Meanwhile, a ret just needs to land a stun and you are 100-0’d in that stun.
Otherwise, you’re just rooted everywhere.
It’s clear that:
- Blizzard hates rogues
- Blizzard ignores rogues completely

they made ccs shorter with cc nerf fest. and with arena items almost half of cc duration is gone.
rogue is dead after cc nerf fest actually.
we are just micro cc bots with low damage for help our big burst damage partners
