Reminds me of my own Special Project… my DK Scourgelord… who, in fact was neither Horde nor Alliance, but rather Scourge, working for the Lich King.
I had Scourgelord for many years, over many expansions… always kept him at max level with some decent gear.
His claim to fame was staying in allegiance with Arthas and the Scourge, still hated by the Horde and Alliance… you see… after leaving the DK starting zone at 58, he traveled to Stormwind to ask forgiveness from the king… but while being relentlessly pummeled with insults and rotten fruit from the citizens of SW, promptly changed his mind and…
NEVER TURNED IN THE QUEST TO SEEK FORGIVENESS
This meant that forevermore through every expansion he was hated in SW, constantly spat on, and hostile to all vendors, quest givers and NPCs… made it hard to do things but he persevered.
Then TWW came out, i logged onto Scourgelord and… all was forgiven… he’s a regular Alliance DK now.
TWW RUINED MY SCOURGE-ALIGNED DK!!!

You killed a critter somehow, it always happens.
It’s serendipitous that I am reading this, as I mentioned to my son last night (whilst I was completing the WQ “fly through 30 rings”) that it would be possible, albeit slow, to level a pacifist/no-kill character by doing only exploration, quests such as deliver messages/sky racing/take pics on the sky disk, and mining/herbalism. But you, however, went totally hardcore with no quests. Hats off to you.

Sorry to hear your journey is over. Very creative way to play. I have a panda in the starting zone just herbing, mining, Trying to stay neutral. Its been awhile but I haven’t been playing her too often. Kudos to you trying something new.

I did this too, where I never turned in the quest to join a faction.
I haven’t played him for years, and forgot all about him. I wonder how he’s doing now.

You can’t heal their victims though, the game doesn’t allow you to. So treating whomever you can is a duty of a pacifist.
