Just started playing mw again. Wondering if our 2 and 4 set bonus are worth losing stats. Some top MW are wearing it and some aren’t. Any info would be helpful, thanks!
based on statistics from the top of the ladder you should or should not wear the 4 set or even the 2 set

i dont see the benefit of the tier set at all, especially with how much vers we get if we dont run it.
mw pretty squishy, the vers makes up for it if caught in a stun and port is down.

That makes sense, especially being a new mw I’m sure I’ll put myself in terrible position without a trinket or port and the extra verse could make a difference.

Why’s that if you don’t mind me asking? Do you use essence font regularly and in what situations?
No it doesn’t
Note that the essence font HoT makes gust of wind procs hit twice for 2x normal healing. This is massive because with enough mastery gusts is almost always a MW’s top healing ability in details.
With essence font HoT, renewing mist, enveloping mist, soothing mist, and vivify spam that’s already 5 abilities getting buffed by 450 per tick (2250 total) plus another 900 because gust of wind will proc twice.
I think a lot of MW’s sleep on the fact that another 3k hps when used correctly from 4 piece is insanely strong. It’s the “it’s not instant healing though!” mentality that makes people sway to Vers over tier.

i use it on mine just to have it for other specs but i dont feel any difference in terms of gameplay
Thank you for this explanation, that’s what I was looking for! I may go with at least the 2 set because I got bad stats from my vault anyway.
