I think it’s funny Wowhead lists MW as A but Icy Veins has it at D. While I don’t heal a ton, I find it to be a really fun healer…
Dont think whoever wrote the IV tier lists even heals ( some random ele sham? Petko? ) , and the IV MW guide is maintained by someone who isnt even active in DL on their monk ( Dhaubbs ). I would take anything on Icy with a grain of salt, or just steer clear of that site entirely.
Tier lists are a joke.

Tier lists are dumb. Play what’s fun for you, you’ll do better than playing FotM. Especially if you don’t like what’s there.

I would go with subcreation tier list. Sure it’s not perfect, but at least it’s based on performance statistics
subcreation also has an issue in that (the specific) performance statistics create a feedback loop when the number of active healers decreases in a given spec.
It’s a good way to determine the meta, not necessarily a good way to accurately rank the power of healers in a comparison.

I would say to play what is fun for you. Tier lists really aren’t a good indicator of healer power.
However, while the lists themselves should be taken with a grain of salt, what they do influence is community opinion. This isn’t terribly important if you have a static group or are playing very casually but can cause you to waste significant amounts of time if you find your self pugging past a certain lvl. This shouldn’t deter anyone, it’s just something to know to avoid frustration later.
Is IV one updated? MW was D tier til like 1-2 months ago
Last I checked was still d tier. I though it was funny the big difference between the two sites.
MW def not D tier anymore, Echo even used one on their world 2nd kill
