MW stat priority

I thought haste was weak for mistweaver because of our mana issues but I just checked out a mistweaver twitch stream and he was rocking mostly haste/vers.

What are you guys using for raid, m+, arena, and RBGs?

It probably heavily depends on talent choice.
RM, Chi-Ji, and ATotM can get a lot of efficient power out of lower gcd, but I’d imagine UW remains mostly the same.
I’m running 21% haste right now for raids with a mix of other stats from random gear (RM).

What’s UW?

They weren’t using ATotM when stacking haste. They were using tear. But they did use chi-ji.

Also, mastery seemed to be a stat they avoided.

So what are your top two stats? Or your stat priority?

It seemed this particular MW that I watched was running haste>vers>crit>mastery.

Upwelling.
I just meant that any of those tends to gain value from haste, not particularly in combination.
Mastery is a weird stat and thus is usefully avoided, if they were running Kyrian that also gives a big boost to mastery for chi-ji or such.
I’d say haste>crit are my general choices, but vers is a pretty solid stat too.

I run haste(to 20%)>crit>vers>haste(over 20%)>mastery in pve and vers>mastery>crit>haste in pvp.

I do fistweaving in pve, and I perform really well with getting haste up to that point, but going too far over tends to give me mana issues, 20% just gives fistweaving a good, fluid feel.

In pvp I mainly mistweave, and I use the conduit that gives mastery a secondary form of crit - I’m still low rating at the moment, but that’s partially because I can’t get groups as a mistweaver lol, with a mastery build I can top up a dps in one vivify or expel harm if I have essence font up, which helps my mana sustain a lot.

That’s just what I do personally, of course, but it works really well for me.

I use mistweaving in dungeons and stack as much mastery as possible because it pumps super super hard and helps out a ton with mana; ideally having crit as your second secondary so Mastery>>crit=vers. With my 950 mastery, my Renewing Mist cast will heal more than vivify primary heal, and if the target has essence font it will heal more than a vivify on them with renewing mist). With resplendent mist conduit I am getting Gust of mists crits for 13k. Basically I can just press renewing mist on an essence font target and top them off. This just makes it so I can cast fewer healing spells in general, especially during essence font windows.

As for fistweaving in raids, healing is more about responding to damage at the right time with essence font and cool downs, rather than just kicking as much as possible. I’ve found if you use essence font on cool down, you’re going to kill your mana. Even with using essence font just to renew the ATOTM buff, I find it is still stressful on mana. Nowadays, I really pay attention to damage timers so I only essence font and ATOTM when it’s needed. Ive played around with a haste>crit=vers, which is fun, and you’ll heal a lot more with ATOTM. But right now I prefer a crit>vers build for fistweaving.

In M+ I’ve found trying to keep the stats pretty even pretty nice, while also making sure to use the highest ilvl stuff and ofc making sure my intellect is high. No stat is bad in keys but as I fistweave I do try and prioritize haste vers and crit. Mastery isn’t bad but I find more value in the other stats but I still run about 60% mastery.

AFAIK looking at all the top arena MW’s they stack Vers/Mastery with virtually 0 Haste.

Suppose it’s to get as much healing from our heals as possible since you have disruptions like getting CC’d (which you’ll need to recover quickly out of and top up teammates) and it means saving mana as a Haste build will require more casts and drain mana quicker.

PVE

If you’re going a rising mist centric build (this can include anything else as long as you’re taking rising mist as a talent) then haste has a significant boost in value. There are actually no hard %s for it but people find that around 15-20% it really starts to flow well and the numbers are good. Outside of that crit and vers are top dogs for the majority of content due to raw throughput being higher than mastery on top of extra damage.

Vers is king

But now in DF it’s the opposite, top rated MWs in rated pvp are going all haste/vers.

I prioritize mastery, then haste/crit, then add in some vers. I’m not a meta player, I very much enjoy playing around with talents and secondary stats to see what I find most fun.

Your priority is rerolling to holy pally.
