I know it’s too early too call but if you had to say… What’s better for melee cleaves as of right now?
Planing on running DH/WW/x or DK/WW/x
Last expansion I leveled MW/Rdruid/Lock which were all trash at the start of season 1 and I don’t want to make that make mistake again.
Each have their advantages and disadvantages.
Rshaman has to cast a lot to heal and with double melee might have problems keeping you up even with all the utility it has gained in Dragonflight.
Mistweaver is the king of just sitting back and healing atm on beta with almost infinite mana. However they die really quickly to double melee and casters.
The choice is probably mistweaver with good mana and good sustained healing. The 40% hp buff and far less bursty meta really plays into the strengths of the spec aswell to allow you to actually survive stuns and use you mobility to get away.
for the comps you’re running mw in a melee season and rsham in a caster season
mw gonna be a lot easier to spam good ol fash heals as usual, sham has more roots, knocks, lasso, mortal strike
mw seems to be better at the moment but it’s so strong that i don’t see it getting away without a handful of nerfs either before the season or at the first tuning pass
50/50 chance if blizzard handles it tactfully so…
though i will say mw is pretty mechanically sound and the 40% health buff probably benefits it more than anyone else
rsham seems like a really solid/safe pick esp for dh and dk cleaves

Is 10% cc reduction trinket set bonus happening and we swaping to dwarfs, or they nerfed the bonus?
yah dwarf will be bis for sham or dark iron. Not a big deal to stay orc tho bloodfury still good
personally going troll/gnome on all chars
Im sticking with Blood Elf on Paladin until they make Undead an option. Arcane Torrent has won too many games for me to want to give up… although I do miss the Arcane Torrent blanket silence of olde.
My DK is probably gonna become Undead though.
Ill wait until 27th to see if any changes and then swap to Dorf

Mw will be best healer next season because it’s a dampening meta due to 40% hp increase and mw doesn’t oom and does highest hps
That’s kind of how Aqua explained Rsham to me a year ago. ‘Usually aren’t the top healer, but because of that they usually fly under the radar and don’t get giant nerfs like others tend to.’

can’t remember the last time rsham was the most versatile healer in the game the way hpal/hpriest/rdruid have been periodically the last 2 expansions
but at the same time i can remember rsham being extremely competitive basically every season the last 2 expansions
(sinful maybe being the only “bad” one)
With the 40% health increase I think sustain healing and dps will be really strong in DF.
One can be Gnome and the other can’t so pretty easy decision if you ask me
MW is good now, but don’t forget blizzard has let MW suck for entire expansions.
I don’t think the same happens to Rsham. It is at least semi-viable at it’s worst because it has a bigger following.
S1 BFA they were insane. I could literally let two melee slap me with just Earthshield up and couldn’t die. They got nerfed hard. That’s probably the strongest they’ve ever been and probably will ever be.
