the removal of spammable instant vivify made mistweaver impossible in solo shuffle. the enemy team legit trains you nonstop and because it’s nonshuffle, your teammates wont cc them to peel or will just train the enemy healer instead, leaving you to die.
after you used all your rolls, teleports while stunned (with a long cd), dmg reduction cds, and cocoon/revival because they chased you down so hard, everything you have is on cd that all you got left is casting (especially when mw has 0 passive survivability other than that 30s cd 15% health pot). because mw heals cant top ppl off instantly in 2-3 casts like an rdruid/hpriest/hpally, you’re dead after an interrupt because everything you have is on cd.
mw is by far one of the worst healers for solo shuffle. decent for premade but after the removal of spammable instant vivifys, mw in solo shuffle is all about having good dps teammates, not because of your toolkit

maybe because of fistweaving, i should try that but i have no haste cuz i went full crit+mastery to main ww.
You just got to afk heal as a mw tbh.
fistweaving is horrible in solo shuffle, just sit 40 and spam heal.
cant when the enemey dps is training you with permaslows and cc while your teammates do nothing to peel. then those cr losses put you into lower cr that match you with teammates that know nothing about pvp. then it just spirals down unless you’re lucky to get good dps teammates.
that’s one of the main reasons healers hate solo shuffle. they get punished equally for someone else’s mistakes outside of their control, unlike a premade where you actually get to choose your good teammates and comp with voice coms. the pros moved up fast to high cr because most of the good teammates played at the start of season, and are now at +2.2kcr. now i’m stuck with troll teammates even in 2k cr.

that’s just the reality of solo que, if you check pvp people for fun you’ll find most of the people you’re playing with have actually struggled to achiev something as simple as 1600 rating in actual arena.
Personally think they shouldn’t of tied so many rewards to solo que to make it the defacto reward farm(to keep actual arena more active), but here we are.
Outside of a very few specific specs that can actually solo carry games because of bloated tookits (shadow priest, demon hunter, preservation evoker) or overwhelming damage like ww/dk/sin rogue, You tend to have to luck into higher mmr to be less miserable(but still pretty miserable).
There is a reason you generally only face the same few specs regardless of your mmr.
queing arenas with two clicks is magical. they just need to award it appropriately for healers then it’ll be so much better with ques
It’s just to easy to cap with.
2 3/3 or better wins in rss and the quest turn in caps and almost unlocks 2 vault slots.
That and the extra titles should of been enough of a reason to motivate people into playing it. It should of been a time killer that made it super easy to vault cap and try things out/maybe find people to play with.
Don’t think they should of added tabards/enchants/transmog to it, keep people incentivized to do actual arena at the low/mid level as well.
In my opinion at least.

Fistweaving opens you up to stuns and even a DR’d HoJ is enough time to 100 to 0 someone in shuffle.
I love fistweaving but it is really bad in shuffle.
That’s the issue, I’m im the minority just using it for vault cap. 2s/3s are deaddddd. Lol
I have over 700 rounds as mw monk. One mess up can cost you the game. There is no room for a screw up at all. I quit playing mw monk…

Nobody is playing fistweaving (successfully) right now. If you are in melee range you just explode in a DR’d asphyxiate. Mistweavers are ok, it’s mostly the 1 million damage in 2 gcds people are doing that’s insane. Just rotate your cooldowns and position better.
