so ive been wanting to get into mist weaver, i mained brew, switched to WW having a blast with that, now id like to get my mist game on. 413 ilvl and im not looking to really push content yet MW, once i learn spec more then i will. but its nice even not knowing the spec really i can heal a heroic dungeon np… im not a total idiot, how ever i was looking at wow lazy macros and googling, and was wondering what sequence macros are out there i did rreally see any… i was thinking of like a soothing mist and vivify combo macro that can be used as like an oh sh*t button, being able to break it and switch to a new target and do it again… idk ANY info about MW would be helpful thanks (also play resto druid as “2nd main” so im not completely new to healing.)
I don’t know of any sequence macros, but i can give you some of the mouse over macros i use if that interests you.
You should try using mouseover and focus macros and @cursor for your statue.
Make soothing mist an easy mouseover key and then all of your main healing spells that mechanize with it should be nearby.
Have focus macro for the tank or whatever as well so you can simply swap to those keys for easy healing tank healing while relying on your mouseover and party frames for the rest to start,
I can share my party1 / focus macro and heal harm mouseovers later when i am at home…
yea that be great
General Mouseover
#showtooltip 1234
/use [@mouseover,help,nodead][help,nodead][@player] 1234
Dispell
#showtooltip Detox
/cast [@mouseover,help,nodead] Detox;Detox
Life Cocoon Mouseover
#showtooltip Life Cocoon
/tar [@target, help, nodead] [@mouseover, help, nodead]
/stopmacro [@target, dead] [@target, noexists]
/cast [@mouseover, help, nodead] [ ] Life Cocoon
Statue (If you use it)
/cast [@cursor] Summon Jade Serpent Statue
Tigers Lust
#showtooltip Tiger’s Lust
/cast [@mouseover,help][@player] Tiger’s Lust
Trinket
#showtooltip 14
/cast [@mouseover] 14
*The Very first macro replace 1234 with the spells by shift clicking them from the spell book. This also works for renewing mist.
**The Tigers lust macro is really nice since if your not mousing over anyone it gives you it instead. If you don’t want that i think you can take out the [@player] part and it should only give it to target or mouse over.
***The trinket one uses very bottom trinket slot, this is for trinkets that heal or places an absorb on a target.
I like to use Help/Harm Macros on most of my healers to save buttons but they’re particularly useful for Mistweavers if you’re going to be DPS’ing.
Here’s my ReM/BoK combo-
#showtooltip
/cast [@mouseover, help, nodead] Renewing Mist; [@target, harm, nodead] Blackout Kick; []Renewing Mist
It will cast ReM on a friendly when you have a Mouseover Target.
It will cast ReM on a friendly target if you don’t have a Mouseover Target.
It will cans ReM on you if neither of the above is true.
Finally it will cast BoK if your target is an enemy and you aren’t mousing over a friendly.
That’s actually really nice, ill have to test that out when i come back to retail.
Thanks. It saves a ton of buttons if you use it on all your damage spells.
I use a lot of help/harm macros to save button space, they are a godsend.
