Mutually Positive Endings

Everything you said was irrelevant. What you said has nothing to do with what I said.

Dont forget the slap is just a warm up for the next gut punch.

It literally dismantles your statement. But if you can’t come up with anything to retort with its okay. Just admit it. No one will think less of you.

has nothing to do with

Enjoy.

But see its all fine! The one that punches will have been lied to by a third party, and rather than to confirm or sort anything out they assumed and got straight to punching. They are the real victims in all this.

No this is what its a response to. Again stop trying to weave a false narrative with cherry picking and be honest.

Edit: I’ll even quote myself so theyre nice and together for you.

Looking at these threads, I truly am jealous of the Alliance. You just don’t see these sort of threads discussing what they expect from Blizzard to give a satisfying conclusion from Horde players anymore. Its nothing but apathy from the red team…

Blizz has shattered our Faction Identity, spit on it corpse, all while giving us lipservice in the form of fancy cinematics. They have portrayed the Horde as weak, ineffectual, broken monsters. Forcing us to suicidally play the aggressors in a war we are constantly told from the offset we could never hope to win, unless the Alliance was handicapped both ideologically and literally handicapped. This comes after an expansion where we were completely ignored (and denied ANY glory against the Legion … not even the MU Orcs) … and another one that retconned the tragic history of the Orcs (to make sure EVERYONE knew that orc were just evil irredeemable monsters by birth).

It truly is some sort of sick joke that people still claim there is “Horde Bias”. Horde Bias truly seems to equate to nothing more than the Faction getting to “exist” due to being protected by game-mechanics and the infinite godlike mercy of the Alliance. Man, I can’t wait to be thrown away again until its time for another round of Villain batting…

Looks at Kalimdor

You are getting what you want.

Thrall, baine, Saurfang… all Horde leaders redeeming their honor.
Probably their final redemption and they all end up where they started.

Ayup, nothing like the Kaldorei being shown to be caught unawares; having their outposts undermined through rogue hitsquads; having the Horde using apparently “top of the line” Azerite ammunition; and STILL for the Kaldorei (even the Bakers) to be portrayed as SO POWERFUL that they can hold the line against 8 to 1 odds for an absurd amount of time. Oh, and don’t forget, Blizzard would not DARE actually kill off a NE character of actual value; which is why the killed off “Warden With Name” Sira … and “Discount Feathermoon” Summermoon.

On a story level, the NEs lost an immense amount; on a Meta level … they’ve lost very little.

Your complaint can be simplified as.

We didnt win fast enough so we got no glory.

Meta level means nothing when two A tier Kaldorei, Tyrande and Malf, who are:

  1. Empowered by a God
  2. The strongest mortal alive

Are suddebly impotent to a C tier Horde character because gothic side chicks hit him up with some good stuff.

Two Val’kyr = Elune?

Yeah my pride is overwhelming. How great it is to be a Kaldorei fan.

Shame none of that mattered earlier? Shame absolutely none of those characters were allowed to act as they should after Teldrassil, because it would have been inconvenient for the plot Blizzard wanted to tell (which seems to involve Sylvanas setting up the next expansion). Sure, they give lipservice to the “Honor Horde” in the form of fancy cinematics, but that didn’t stop them from making EVERY SINGLE Horde complicit in the horrors of Teldrassil (by forcing them to wait to turn against Sylvie, until it was convenient for HER plot that they be “allowed” to).

That time laps did so much to undermine any credibility of the “Honor Horde” side of things … its unprecedented (you ARE right on this point). But, Blizzard both seems aware of this (hence the fancy cinematics) … and didn’t seem to actually care. Its the same nonsense as to why the “Horde Peoples are Still Loyal to Sylvie”. Its not about the Horde Faction’s story/identity at all, its about HER story (whatever the hell it is) … and the Horde remaining convenient for it (at least until her “sudden but inevitable betrayal” moment … which sure as hell is coming).

don’t worry, soon there will be nothing to be jealous about after they forgive the horde again and let do them same again.
i can tell you something, anyone who plays alliance after that will be a masochist.

Yup, nothing like Blizz Mcguffining one of our last remaining reps to survive that fight against 2 DemiGods to scream Horde Bias. Also PRIMES are supposed to be absurdly powerful, remember New Andorhal? Shame Blizz apparently forgot WHAT made them so scary; with their ability to summon a near infinite army of commons to fight for them. Or was the Night Elves having mommy come in and bail them out, giving them a power up that apparently came with a TON of risk (but actually has 100 percent success rate and no actual side effects for a free power up) not enough?

The NEs (with deus-ex-machingGOD powers) effectively managed to strongarm an entire territory back, with no infrastructure, limited numbers, and despite heavy fortifications. They take the MOST advanced tech the Goblins have created (the A.F.M.O.D’s) and make them look like paperweights; and take the MOST powerful weapon for the Forsaken (the Blight) … and made the no more powerful than a Fart in the Wind). Yup … so weak. Such a terrible showing…

Come visit the SF discord then. We have plenty of jaded Horde discussions.

I have been able to look past most of the horrendous things BfA has given us but that fight against Nathanos will be forever remembered as one of the lowest points NE have sunk into along with A Little Patience. At best I’d put Nathanos in a B+ tier list and let’s say that with the Valkyr boost he went up to an A tier list, he’d still be facing 2 S tier list characters + a God.
Him not being utterly obliteraded from existence makes no sense.

my favorite part was malfurion looking him like a idiot and doing nothing as he was escaping with 2 raised nelfs.
you know, the most powerful druid in existence, one of the most powerful beings on azeroth, probably the strongest alliance character
who was killing in a 1v10 the warchief of the horde in war of thorns.
or at least that was the ingame representation
known for his “entangled roots” spells… doing… nothing.

They should have put someone there that gets built up through the 8.1 questline as a Horde character to fear and then have Tyrande destroy him/her after she gets the Night Warrior power up. And have it be exclusive to Alliance players while Horde do their thing with Nathanos somewhere else.

You didn’t like watching two strong characters with multiple ranged attacks standing there impotent as the bad guys escape on slow flying bats?

That whole scenario was confusing.

The timelines are all screwed up with who did what when.
NEs being raized willingly or against their will.
Lamest fight ever seen in warcraft since Malfurion vs Sylvanas.

They should have made that fight into a cinematic. That would have been good.

The Horde complaints about their inconsistent characters is no different than ours.
And thats pretty much the norm now days.

Regardless the game treats the Horde with total and absolute vindication.
