I just recently found this feature and have been abusing it, muting anything that is a rehash, or megathread, or just plain boring. Is there a limit by any chance? I hope not.

I mute all megathreads and lounge topics. they’re not my jam. I haven’t encountered a limit yet.

I haven’t blocked or muted anything, but the forums just aren’t all that active because it’s a lull period right now.
Folks talking about Remix or topics that get instantly ignored like asking for MT weapons or High Elves.
It’s just been boring here.
I’m more active elsewhere.
if it goes over 100 posts i lose interest. i figure its probably not solvable as a forum post at that point and im just wasting my time

You can also mute specific individuals, in case you didnt know.
I just post assuming everyone has me muted. Its like my own little echo chamber :3

Yeah I mean gaming Reddits and other sites in general, WoW forums are just feeling slow and unoriginal lately.

what happens when you mute, does it just go away from the list of threads?
Mute is a good tool, I’ve been using it on a lot of the Addons posts, since most of them are just rehashes of many that have gone before.
i never wanted to do that because it feels like I’ve given up. I did mute my first person yesterday though. we had a disagreement in a post, and he decided to follow me to other posts and harass me.

muting threads is very based unless you feel the need to come into threads and announce you disagree with said thread and are muting it, don’t do that it’s very cringe everytime I have seen it on here.

I can’t mute on 'ol Blizzard iPhone app, only on webpage site.
and thats the proper way to make use of it honestly.
I just mute people who are toxic. If i cant read your post without feeling bad for the person you’re conversing with i dont want to see what you’ve got to say.
