I am 100% sure no one ever stated any of this…
Such D-R-A-M-A.
I suspect what is happening (like me) is they hearth to the inn or login and then they want to look something up on [insert some wow related website here] and get tired of hearing the huffs/puffs/farts/yawning/grampa noises over and over and over.
Now I found a way to mute them (and plenty of others).
I’m horrible at finding sound IDs, any chance you know the one for the clicking and whirring of the Jewelcrafting profession table? I always have to turn off my game sounds when I do work orders because that table is just nonstop annoying!
Isn’t that the innkeeper who tells you to go grab his brass knuckles and punch the inn patrons? That also uses a railroad spike as a toothpick and has a viking helmet for some reason? Seems like the kind of fellow who does the reverse…
I think I do actually, that one was a total pain to isolate. I’ll get it from my pc tomorrow for ya if my old brain can remember.
I use leatrix sounds, wowhead, and sometimes out of desperation an addon called sound id finder. It’s super janky and I have to disable it and reopen the entire wow client once I finish using it. But it’s worth it.
Now there’s some squeaky creak from the scale on the jewelcrafting table that I was unable to isolate. It’s annoying, but not as bad as the mechanical noises.
I found the Naaru chime sound ID using leatrix sounds.
Add 601649 to your list to turn off the annoying Naaru.
You will have to restart the game for it to go into effect.
You are an absolute blessing, omg, if I wasn’t already married I’d ask you to marry me lol! I have spent SO many hours trying to scour leatrix, wowhead, anything else I could think of, and I could NEVER track those sounds down!
