I 100% agree… It reminds me of the annoying grunts, noises and laughs in Shatt from the Draenei near the flight point.

I love the music in this expansion, but eventually I will keep my sound off while I watch things on my work laptop next to my personal computer. I usually do that after my 4th or 5th alt and I’m tired of hearing the talking, and don’t feel the need to shut it off in game.
I like most of the sounds, the music, the animals, the laughs, the sighs, but some things like hunter pets that make noise too often, or the dang slithersnake DF mount hissing a lot drive me crazy.
I actually had a couple stone gargons for my earthen’s pets and they make weird sounds basically non stop, really got on my nerves so I had to stable them, which is a bummer. I’ll bring them back out when I get to the point where I don’t need or want the sound on.

Lol, never noticed this. Now I’m gonna check it out for myself. I play with sound on but usually have music blasting over it.
No, this innkeeper is very relaxing for me, everyday i log in to the game i spend at least 20 minutes while i eat hearing him and it bring me relaxation before my playtime of the day.

I’m happy you made a thread on this. I thought I was the only one who felt things just seemed more noisy this xpac. What you described is a good example…and that giant machine in Dornogal with the constant thumping sound.
