Must Have RP Addons

Okay so for a while I used mrp before switching to trp. Haven’t really used any other rp related addons othere than those two. Though I did recently get the cross rp addon.

I’m curious if there is an addon out there that allows you to type up as much as you want and will separate it into multi-para emote posts in chat. I imagine there is, but don’t know what it is called if it exists.

Also another thing that I struggle with in rp is keeping track of my current rp especially in crowded active areas where you can easily get confused or miss an emote due to other people’s ongoing rps. I’d like to know if there is any sort of addon that can help with this? Help put focus on you and another person or group of people’s emotes.

(Commentary): I like using Cosplay, it’s a transmog addon that lets you try outfits on others in the dressing room. I know of some guilds that have used Dice Master.

There is one named Listener just type it into the Curse Client or look up Roleplay addons.

It’d still a challenge but a lot easier.

Another great one is Dicemaster. It was made for d20 events but it has this AWESOME feature you can turn on that shows when someone else in your raid or party group (as long as they have Dicemaster installed and on) is typing. SO USEFUL.

I also use Elephant for chat logging, and if you do cross faction RP, Cross RP works with the Elixir of Tongues and lets you see the other faction’s TRP profiles – I assume MRP too, but I use TRP3 Extended for the custom item creation stuff. It’s more secure than Gryphonheart Items used to be.

Listenee, Elephant, TRP3, and an emote splitter are the three requierments I’d say.

Also for common courtesy, dont para-bomb in public. Keep emotes 2-3 paragraphs at best.

I highly highly recommend getting CrossRP. It allows you to see the other faction’s TRP and makes that barrier far easier should that come up. It’ll also remind you to refresh your Elixir of Tongues at around 3 minutes.

I also recommended Listener like people are saying. It’ll ping you if someone says your name or emotes AT you and Elephant keeps logs of every thing said in all forms.

All of the above are great suggestions, and pretty much essential use. I currently run WoWIM, similar to Elephant, and lets me keep track of all of my whispers in useful little windows.
