Probably one of the more minor things to complain about, but Blizz firing some of the audio team is pretty apparent. Vol’dun is the only tune this expansion to write home about. That and the Dazar’alor remix in that raid, especially during the Rastakhan fight.
Pretty much all of the music has been meh and it’s a bit jarring going to the ‘old’ Vale of Eternal Blossoms just to hear this slow generic Mogu music remixed with the bland N’Zoth music when he isn’t even there.
Not even to mention how tired I am of the Boralus music. It was nice for like the first 5 minutes and then got annoying.

How is this any different from any other hub theme? They at least added a brand new theme for Boralus with 8.1.5.
Stormwind has been old for years, but we’re still forced to spend time there.

Well the point was just that the Boralus music is annoying after a while. Dalaran music was stellar and more ambient.

The music seems to fit well. Oh well some people like different things. Also you stated they fired audio guys… Proof? Didnt they downsize cs staff?
They fired one of the audio leads who had been there from the beginning and was responsible for a lot of the more ambient music. Kept the other lead who they brought in during Cata.
I don’t remember his name. Russell something I think.
And the music is definitely much more -in your face- because of it. With the exception of 8.3 music, which is just bad.

Boralus music is annoying for the first few seconds then it’s okay. As for the rest? Quite enjoy Zuldazar, Nazmir, Voldun, Tiragarde, Stormsong, Drustvar, Nazjatar, and Mechagon. Thought Legion was better but the music is still really good in BFA.

I personally like the music. I think there’s plenty of variety, and it all fits the areas it’s written for.

I think BFA has some of the best music this game has ever seen. Like on the same level as MOP.

I mostly disagree.
I absolutely love Tiragarde Sound and Stormsong Valley music. Vol’dun music is quite fitting, even if it isn’t my favorite.
The Boralus music though does get a little tiresome.
Nope. Nothing can ever be as jarring and uncomfortable as Eastern Plaguelands.
Granted, I think they did that on purpose. EPL should be uncomfortable. So, well done. Excellent ambient music. 10/10, you did what you were aiming to do.
