Murozond as final boss?

Does this make sense? Didn’t we take him out in a dungeon with just 5 people? Will he be empowered to be stronger? I mean we did just literally kill the strongest person in the afterlife so why would he be an end raid boss?

I think it’s too predictable. Like how before WOD came out everyone thought Hellscream would be the final boss. Sadly I wish that had turned out to be true

Yea he dead, we had Nazdormu help which is how we did it

Murozond will be born of Nozdormu once again :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

But it also brings about other lore issues. Like how he becomes Murozond. It’s said he was tricked by old gods into doing it. They are all dead now. Are they going to retcon and say there is another ? N’zoth is alive? He is corrupted by another source ?

In the future. Nozdormu has yet to fall to madness in our timeline and will do so in time; he even says so himself at the end of the End Time dungeon (where Murozond is the final boss).

The time aspect could be played up during the fight to have him undo his wounds and exhaust us, but ultimately he will not be killed - as I already mentioned - he will be slain in the future by our past selves. (Don’t you just love timey whimey stuff?)

Warlords of Draenor was transformed to be nearly unrecognizable within just the first major patch, as Blizzard seemingly abandoned the expansion and rushed to push the story towards Legion as fast as possible.

The funny thing about timey wimeyness is that you can technically get to kill the same dude an infinite amount of times, which also makes for an extremely underwhelming final boss imo.
Personally hoping for Chromatus

Could be a final boss that we don’t kill. We know when he dies already.

I think the safe bets are on Murozond or Galakrond. But maybe they’ll surprise us. Or maybe we’ll get another 3-D printed action figure to fight.

I think Muro is too obvious. Our community track record for guessing before the expansion comes out hasn’t been reliable

Vanilla - doesn’t count no coherent story

Tbc- same but I don’t think anyone guessed kiljaeden

Wrath - obvious choice even though arthas wasn’t technically the final boss

Cata - same pretty obvious

Mop - nobody thought or guessed garrosh

Wod - nobody guessed arch

Legion - nobody guessed Argus , everyone thought sargaras

Bfa - n’zoth wasn’t even a thought

Shadowlands - was too obvious . Like it was so obvious I thought no way could the final boss be jailer. That’s too predictable

That’s because originally it was a faction war expansion, but people got tired of war, and were worried about of SOO 2.0, so halfway through the expansion, they abandoned the war aspect and gave people what they interested in at the time; Nagas and Old gods, and that’s how we got N’zoth as an endgame boss.
