Ok you guys heard of panda people the the walking magikarps and stuff
but have you guys heard of playable murlocs NO you haven’t
Blizzard look at this post make murlocs a playable race with there own class
some sort of bounty hunter or water based class .
why should murlocs be in Wow As a playable race because everyone wants
them to be and they look cool and im sure you can figure out some sort
of magic or spell in the lore to let them talk common speak or understand murloc
EXAMPLE arcane linguist that makes you understand different languages and murlocs can be a neutral race SO BOTH SIDES CAN USE ARCANE LINGUIST TO KNOW WHAT THERE SAYING ! Wow community we just have to keep making post about it and they could do it one day they have to be looking at some posts

I assure you, I have. Long before Allied Races were a thing.

i saw you on another murloc post
I’m on many posts. To be honest, this isn’t really a Story Forum topic, nor is it a really well thought out argument other than “they’d be cool.”
well there cool arent they

Sure. But that’s not an argument for a playable race. You haven’t expanded outside the supposition that “everyone likes and wants them,” which is also verifiably false.
i mean orcs are cool undead are cool worgens are cool and they do have there own lore and murlocs can get there lore too
Being cool and having the potential for lore (which murlocs already have) isn’t grounds for a playable race. Everything you just listed has far more development and reasons to be playable.
That’s not an equivalent comparison.
murlocs can have 10% faster swim speed for example breath in water for 15% longer they can have increases shaman and warrior skills with maybe something called ancient link that makes them better with maces because of murloc ancestors or something they can have a similar thing to cannibalism that undead
have that lets them feed of corpse like in the quest were you have to find the guards body there all ate up assumed to be eaten by murlocs they can have
a passive that lets them fish better or fish without a pole there is loads of creative ideas that can make them a official race of some sort and they can get there own class according to the perks they get if they ever get released.
That’s somewhat more of an argument… even if it is largely just taken from existent races.
But AGAIN, not a Story Forum topic.
i posted on lore forum because the lore part of the post i made they have lore that makes them a playable race and its not largley taken from existen races the
one thing i really took from a different race was the undead because it would
makes sence for a murloc to eat dead corpses i mean why would they not be able to . it would be like to say why can the undead eat corpses because there zombie type creatures thats why
The ability to have lore can be attributed to anything in WoW. That doesn’t make it relevant to the explicit Story Forum. Apart from that, you didn’t post anything about lore other than “they could get some.”
were talking about lore right now
I’ve been asking for playable ogres, murlocs, naga, and even bloody quillboars and centaurs long before allied races and even DRAENEI were a thing.
No we’re not. You’re not saying anything other than “they could get lore.” That’s not talking about lore, that’s just stating the obvious.
ogres would be a cool race and would make good use for a barbarian class or just
plain warrior i dont think naga would work because of there long tail that wold conflict with some armor making issues
Murlocs have plenty of lore, even if a lot of the specifics are from the partially canon RPGs.
I would even say they could be somewhat likely in the not too distant future based on all the recent events with the Naga and whatnot. Perhaps a more intelligent faction of former Naga-slaves that break away and join the Horde/alliance/both.
i dont think they should be a allied race because it would suck having to farm rep in that area and i just think they should be like pandarians with the neutrality and stuff
idk man, murlocs killed Sen’jin. Sen’jin is Vol’jin’s dad.
That’s kinda messed up man.

Blizzard has said they don’t want to do anymore neutral races. Pandaren were implemented like that because the hype for them had been elevated so high, that giving them to either side alone would have caused an uproar. In the early stages of BC, Pandaren were meant to be the Alliance race.
