I just want this to happen and it really should happen as murlocs are iconic and demon hunters are the perfect juxtaposition. There’s some things that need to happen before this dream ever becomes a reality.
- Other races need demon hunter other than elves such as red draenei and red orcs. This will be the stepping stone to the most insane DH race of all - murloc.
- Murlocs need to be added. Whether as a neutral race or some other means, they are beloved and cherished and I would play retail to play one. They’re usually hunters, shamans, warriors, priests and mages. But they are also allied with the Naga, thus could have learned demon magic.
Summary: Blizz needs to give the players what they ask for, not come up with random new things like Vulpera. We’ve still got Furbolgs, Ogres, Vrykuls, Murlocs, etc. all we’d all die to play. Murlocs, particularly Murloc DH is a specific fantasy that is completely unique to warcraft that I think a lot of folks would enjoy. It’s just the perfect contrast of goofy and epic. Like goblins but cranked up to 100.

im so into this idea that im considering writing fan fiction or some kind of origin story for the murloc DH. and now I am considering ways for pandas to be DHs too. Given that Wod and Legion followed Mop, it’s not out of the question that some pandas conquered demon magic. their kung fu acrobatics actually compliment the high mobility of DH nicely.
