Two details here:
1 - Why should my Demon Warlock think that’s a bad thing?
2 - If Silvermoon banned Fel Magic, they are ingrates. Fel Magic kept them alive and functional when they lost their little Sunwell.
Most Blood Elves did not use fel to stay alive. They used mana wyrms and other creatures to feed their addiction to magic. None of that has been needed though since the end of TBC.

Off topic kind of but Murder Row is a great name for a dungeon.
