Killed Sarka yesterday and got no legendary stone, however a friend in the evoker discord did got it and he confirmed that the stone is a personal loot, it appeared directly.into his inventory like a Legion legendary
With this in mind, i was wondering if there is maybe a chance if you didn’t get the stone in one kill, if there is a chance to keep trying the same week since its not part of the boss loot table.
You could try at different difficulties, but you only get one shot per difficulty per week.
100% drop on mythic, ofc.
The real question is can you start collecting the quest materials before you have the end-boss drop?
No. The quest the gem gives you requires you to go to Zaralek Cavern to witness three memories, and have three things made via crafting orders from three different professions.
The mats for the crafting orders have to be grinded up by the evoker, after receiving the quest, they don’t drop otherwise. And the recipes can only be learned by having the evoker use an item on the crafter. After which they have 30 minutes to make it.
Sanghelios grinded it up in a day (Liquid killed Sark on Monday, he had it done the next day), so it’s probably not too much of a hassle.
I created a spreadsheet for everything i needed last night. My numbers could be off, since im at work but ill do my best to remember.
For him to finish in a day is amazing. The grind is very real. I belive the world drops you need are in the 400 range (12 drop from world boss, 3 per rare), stuff from dig sites/treasure chests are sitting at 50 (could be 25, i think 50 though), you need drops from raid bosses (he probably recleared normal, heroic, and maybe some mythic aswell to get enough in one day) and this is just the drops you need.
The mats you need are equally crazy. If youre not being funded by your guild and doimg it solo youll need alot of raw materials.

500 Awakened Order
20 Dracothyst is a crazy amount of Glowspore.

(These numbers include having to make alot of product, many of which come with cooldowns on thier production)
I think someone posted that the raw materials alone will set you back over 1million in gold (by current AH prices, should drop in a month or so).

The person i mentioned on the op got the gem early today and crafted the glove the same day.
He spended about 800k to buy everything that was buyable though, the only thing he couldn’t buy were the raid boss drops so he goet them from doing N and a few HC
Im super happy to be wrong, but when i looked into it, it was one drop per boss. For him to do only N amd a few Heroic , it would have to be higher. Does heroic drop more?
What about the world drop portion? From what i see you need 400 with 12 from world boss and rares only dropping 3. How did manage to obtian so many so fast?
