Multiple Snake Loa

Anyone else find it interesting how there’s three of these? Sethraliss, Sseratus, and Hethis. As far as I know there isn’t a limit on how many of a species can be elevated to Loa status, but I just found it fascinating.

And de trolls be tryin to drain all of their powah. But I think that’s just what trolls do. Lust for powah.

Makes me wonder of there’s multiples of other animal Loa as well.

Tigers.

Kimbul and Shirvallah.

Oh yeah! Good one.

We know there were at least two raptors. Gonk and the unnamed loa that Mother turned into a monster

Also neither are animals, but there are two Death Loa. Bwonsamdi and Mueh’zala.

Wait really? I know of Gonk, whose the other?

Sorry slow edit

Quetz’lun and Hakkar are both flying serpents.

(Edit) As an additional thought, Tharon’ja is a skeletal Wind Serpent.

Ursoc and Ursol too; though not traditionally worshipped by trolls

Well there’s the Drakkari polar bear and the Amani bear, for bear Loas.

That’s right. I think he was already dead when zul’drak quests began

Multiple Loa of the same species usually belong to different pantheons. Like Bwonsamdi and Mueh’zala. You don’t believe in both Bwonsamdi and Mueh’zala, it’s either/or. But weirdly enough there do exist some that some loa have overlap within the same pantheon. Sethraliss and Hethis are a good example.

A good general rule also seems that the Zandalari, though have their own pantheon, don’t fully disbelieve other pantheons like the other tribes do. Their loa also seem to cross borders more often than not and are worshiped by multiple tribes.

There’s Vol’jin and Zanza who are humanoids.

Har’koa seems to be worshipped by the Drakkari and the Zandalari. Interesting.

We also have 2 dragonhawks, Hakkar and that amani one.

shhhh don’t spoil it.

I don’t think Hakkar is a dragonhawk.
He seems more like a windserpent, even then it’s not clear. I think he’s just a blood god.

Although not from Azeroth, Seethe when he was alive was most likely similar to Hakkar and Quetz’lun, judging by his skeleton in Spires of Arak.
