Please stop making a tailor have to pick up blacksmithing and alchemy and skinning
you need to review the profession back in classic we did not need any other professions
so why in the heck now to make a martyr’s wrists:
mote of wild magic-alchemy
tormented tantalum- blacksmithing
peerless plumage- skinning
can you team please go back and review the profession and re-asses this tailoring has nothing to do with alchemy, nor blacksmithing nor skinning.. we just need to gather enough cloth to make our gear.
look at how professions were from 2004-2015 that the way professions are suppose to be.

I distinctly recall many vanilla profession recipes requiring inputs from other professions.

hate to say it but there you would be wrong..back in vanilla well classic for those that weren’t playing or around back in those days..every profession relied on another one for some parts of their more powerful gear and even items like belts required a iron belt buckle pretty sure they still do if you have the patterns you would see that. So this isn’t a new thing at all and never has been a new thing that just recently became to be take Mooncloth CIrclet pattern not only did you need a gem(mining) but you also needed enchanted leather(LW).. that was just one “classic” pattern out of a lot of them for lvl 60 gear that required other professions to make the item. Hence why some of us had so many alts if we didn’t want to spend the gold on the AH back then it was grind city to lvl and then farm.

I don’t have any issue asking for this, but you aren’t supporting your argument very well by mis-characterizing the history of professions.
Whatever support you think your idea needs, the past isn’t going to provide it.
